***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

Was a bit surprised when he offered the phone with that much discount I have to say. Made him triple check it was the galaxy nexus and not the nexus S or something. Fingers crossed this fix arrives soon or it will be going back!

Wow, everyones email address in the email, good one samsung, thanks for giving away my work email

Just tried the 3 CPW's in Manchester city centre and the one in the Trafford Centre and they don't have stock nor know when they will get it. Looks like it'll be December before I get it now

My brother works in CPW (Bath) and he thought they were getting some in Monday. Have not double checked that is still the case though.

Another amazing article from the BBC:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15870020

BBC said:
Samsung said that it is aware of the problem and will offer a repair but did not say when.

"Regarding the Galaxy Nexus, we are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix," Samsung said in a statement. "We will update devices as soon as possible."

So are they going to repair or update?! I think somebody doesn't know the difference!

Well, as stock seems to be 'suspect' at most places at best, I phoned up O2 and have sorted it with them. It should be delivered on Saturday to the UK address then it's being expressed shipped to me via UPS :p

Should have it middle of next week. Yay.

Just got off the phone to Vodafone, the nice woman told me the prices for the nexus should be on the website tomorrow (Friday) and the phone should be available next week.

Idle battery drain is brilliant. However, when the screen is on, the drain is pretty quick, especially if you override the far too aggressive auto brightness.

The drain is pretty fast on all phones though when the screen is on, even at low brightness.
