Wow, really? How do you know, you never watch it.

mate, i was born in scotland and lived in glasgow my whole life, there is only 1 game even worth watching, the old firm derbies and that is it.

but i will say this, the old firm derby easily beats every derby in england by a mile. its probably the most fiercest in the world.

nobody believes you when you say this, come to celtic park on derby day with 60,000+ die hard fans (2nd biggest club stadium in the UK), and then go see and english derby and the difference is night and day.

most scottish people only have 2 passions in life, football and drink, and they take both to the next level.

How do you know I never watch it? I could watch it every weekend for all you know. :)

This is where you point to Scotland's AMAZING national team, or their exemplary record in Europe where their club sides consistently make it to the latter stages of competitions. The Scottish sides would struggle against most Championship teams, so come off it.

celtic and rangers would easily be able to hold their own in the EPL, if they got the same amount of money as EPL teams do.

celtic park holds 60,000 plus and their ticket price would increase too.

only an idiot would think otherwise.

take the rest of the 10 teams in scotland's top tier and they would be scattered throughout the lower leagues.

celtic and rangers really do need to move into the premiership, i never see it happening though, so scottish football is declining, it really does need a boost.

For the love of.....

What? Konami got EA on that one?

How does that work? EA can't even IF player based on CL performance?

Well thats gay.

Was 2-0 up in a game. Cruising, sitting back, feeling like a boss. 70th minute, he brings on Ronny - Messi - Aquero. Puyol and Pique must have pee'd their pants.

Managed to hold onto a 2-0 win but got worked hard at the end.

Robert on the other hand doesn't enter tournies therefore comes up against noobs all the time in single matches, because they can't win tournies.

Um, I still win tournies, just don't find them fun to play anymore because people play like ***** in them. I have came across better players in single matches.

I have 21 tournies in 12 and had 45 in 11.

:shakesfistatsonny:

I just played a guy who had a really good team but stuck a 46 rated CM in goal?!

He still beat me :(

I know you don't watch it because of your ignorance. Celtic and Rangers both have quite a few good players. In fact we've had to work hard this season to tie down a lot of our players because clubs from the EPL have been sniffing around.

As for Europe, Celtic made the 2003 Europa League finals. Strachan then lead us to the last 16 of the CL twice. Rangers made it to the final of 2007 Europa League. Celtic this season are 2 points behind Atletico Madrid and Udinese in their group. That's not too shabby for a team that would struggle in championship.

Celtic and Rangers are terrible footballing teams. I still remember that absolute thriller of a game in the Champions League the other season where Rangers played Man Utd and managed to er.... put 10 men behind the ball for the full 90 minutes, what a fantastic attitude of going about the game. The same when they always come down for pre-season friendlies. We've played Celtic and Rangers a few times in our friendly cup and they usually end up getting beaten fairly convincingly.

Celtic's stadium is a massive plus like you say, but give most teams the same budget as the premier league teams and they'd do well. Promoted teams do it all of the time.

I'm sorry but most of the 'decent' players in the SPL are made to look decent by the frankly terrible teams that they play against week in week out. Look at those other Scottish megastars like Aiden McGeady, omg he's as good as Ronaldo! So fast and amazing skills! Where's he playing now? Oh on a plastic pitch in Russia. He's really made it!

That guy that everyone from the SPL is jizzing over, Jelavic, he will end up playing for a mid-table EPL team before moving off to Turkey or some armpit like that. Honestly.

Played a game in the Advanced Cup and played against a Bundesliga team, lost 3-0. The guy was definitely better than me and had really good dribbling skills but what was weird was that the game wasn't laggy but the 3 goals he scored lagged just as he took a shot so my defence was out of position or my goalkeeper would not react in time, as well as this when he pulled a skill move to move into my 18 yard box the game would freeze for a millisecond. Anyone experience this?

imo the SPL has only ever had 1 world class player, Larsson and he would jizz all over anyone in arsenals current team. he was that good. hell, i'd take him back now to see him again, he played world class in that charity match last year was it, linking up with Zidane, omg my 2 favourite players playing together, it was like watching Michelangelo painting that famous chapel, true artists in the game.

He was an epic player, one of a kind but this joker is seriously saying that the SPL is a star studded league when it really isn't.

it's currently falling apart, it's getting worse year on year, like i said, it only has 1 good match, thank god it gets played a minimum of 4 times a year, so we have something to look forward to every few months, the weekly stuff is crap imo.

like i say, they do really need to move into the premiership, a lot of english teams wont like it, but both clubs have the stadiums and players to hold their own easily, with a little cash injection, in 10 years of playing in the EPL, Celtic could easily be a top 8 team. Rangers probably 10-16 due to having a much smaller stadium.

they arent going to set the world on fire, but i reckon they could turn those 4 exciting games a year into 40 exciting games a year.

Also Sonny, best Ligue 1 team? ;) Linky?

you could use Benzema instead of IF Gameiro or Anelka, Pastore or Gourcuff instead of IF Remy.

its cheap as chips then, apart from Lloris, Mandana is a good cheap option.

that 77 rated CDM is a beast,

there is also the diarra brothers too for CDM, but i prefer these two.

you can use non french people if you want, Lopez i found terrible, same with Sow, but its so cheap you can experiment away.

Celtic a top 8 side? :p

I hate football crowds so having 60k of them all riled up more than usual in a confined area is my idea of hell basically.

If I did that team I'd probably slot Hazard at LAM and Menez at RAM. I know 77 Sissoko is a beast, no idea why he is 77.
