People would actually get a Skyrim tattoo? wut.

Yeah! If I wasn't a flabby mess, I'd have the Skyrim dragon logo on my back and one of the shouts on my chest. :D

I wonder if that would get me a lifetime of Bethesda games. :p

EDIT: Someone in Internetland has already done it!

Anyone with a ps3 suffering crashes like me?

What kind of crashes?

To date I've had 2 issues.

First one I was running cross country, went to pull out my bow and it locked up, had to reset the unit.

Then second time I went into a shop and it locked up on the loading screen.

It does lag a lot in the cities but other than that not had that many problems yet.

Finally finished the Dark Brotherhood quest this weekend and almost finished the Companions quest. Have barely started the other ones. Oh and I hate the ******* Falmer, they creep me the hell out, had to venture into Mzinchaleft for a quest, although now it's cleared I want to go back down as there was a Dewmer machine that kept telling me I had the wrong parts and I don't know what I need.

Spent a good deal of time making Iron Daggers, Smiffing now at 100 :) and have Dragon Plate armor :D Armor rating of near 400...

Still not done much on the main story, just collecting Shouts at the moment and the odd misc quest..

Spent a good long time with this over the last 4 days as I was off Thursday/Friday for my birthday. I'm now at level 45, and have my Smithing, Enchanting, and Alchemy all up to 100. I can now create some seriously impressive equipment. I can use the Alchemy to make potions to improve my Enchanting and Smithing, and use Enchanting to create equipment to improve my Smithing and Alchemy. I've now got a Deadric Bow that deals out nearly 300 points of damage (plus Soul Trap and Shock Damage), a Deadric Sword that hits for about 190 damage (plus Shock and Fire Damage), and fully enchanted Dragonscale Armour (with enhancements to Archery damage, One-handed, Sneak, Blocking, Magic Defence, Destruction spell cost, and Health), with an armour rating of 535. To say I can now tank most enemies is an understatement. I've even created potions which reduce Fire, Frost and Shock Damage by 86% for 60 seconds, so if I encounter any dragons I just swig one of them and standing there shooting arrows at it :D I'm also yet to find any enemy who can take a 3x Sneak Attack from my Bow and stay standing :D

I've mainly been playing the Thieves Guild questline this weekend, and I think I'm on the last mission now. Done some Dark Brotherhood stuff too, I think I'm about halfway through that. I'm a few missions in to the Mage's Guild, and only 2 missions in to the Companions. I've not even started any of the Civil War stuff yet, and I've barely touched the main story either. 100 hours in and I still feel like I have so much to do. I absolutely love this game :D

I'm loving this game and looking to level a bit faster but I read if you do the smithing trick it causes problems for the other stats because your lower in them and the enemies match your level?

Can someone explain it to me? :p

That's impressive. How did you get your Alchemy up so easily? I'm really struggling with it, seems to go up by the tiniest amount when you're making potions, and I've got hundreds of them!

I want to know your secrets for when I start this game at Christmas. :D

I've only got 10 hours in so far and feel as though I've barely scratched the surface, don't you feel a bit like you've spoilt the game though by making yourself so powerful? I'm not going to do the iron dagger/enchanting technique to get my skills up because I think it seems to be so easy to end up creating such powerful weapons!

I agree. whats the point? might as well set the difficulty to easy and go through the motions of doing the quests without the fear of dying.

I don't know, I just can't get my head round why people are going nuts getting everything to 100 and becoming almost invincible. Granted, I'm not saying you shouldn't as everyone is entitled to play the game the way they wish to but why not just go with the flow?

The secret is knowing what potions to create. The more expensive the potion, the more your alchemy skill will improve as a result. If you can make Damage Magicka Regen, Damage Stamina Regen, Slow, Invisibility, and Paralysis, you'll find your skills will go up quicker. If you find any rings/amulets/armour which improve your alchemy, wear them when creating potions, as it will increase the value of your potions, and therefore increase your skill faster.
