I got an email this evening from O2 confirming my GN has been sent out for delivery. It's currently with the courier and will be here tomorrow.
I actually ordered mine last Sunday so it's taken 8/9 days. It was originally due to be delivered last Thursday(only day I could be at home for delivery), but when I called O2 that Thursday afternoon they told me there was no stock! Thanks for letting me know O2!
I reckon if I'd got it delivered straight away I would have got one, as I've seen others receive there's from O2 who ordered same time/just after me. There's clearly no priority given on who gets one. Even though I ordered mine when they had stock, someone else got mine due to me picking a delayed delivery. I think its whoever needs one at the time or whoever shouts loudest.
When I called O2 this morning I spoke to a woman who told me they were expecting a new batch in today. I then asked how they allocate the phones, is it first come first served, etc? She didn't give me a straight answer but told me she would call me back before she left for the day and let me know if I have one. As promised she called back and told me the phones were expected that evening(this was at 4pm). I then got an email at 5pm saying mine was on the way. So they must have gone back out the warehouse within minutes of arriving.
