great new patch has decided to self destruct my game, everytime i reach a certain area or open the map i crash to desktop.
Suppose i better get rid of my mods and run it in vanillia.

Just got in and when i start Skyrim (steam) and click the play button on the first popup screen it just reloads the popup lol.

I haven't tried to start the game since the patch, or opened Steam so hopefully i can stop it from updating. Nothing needed patching for me anyway

Just looked in my stem install directory and it had 2 .exe files before, a launcher and another i forget the name and now there is only one, it appears the play button on the initial flash popup screen is just linked to the launcher lol, had so much grief with steam lately that if this is not sorted by the time i get up tomorrow it will be the last steam game i buy, why the fu#k can't i play a game i have bought that has no online play without having to load steam in the first place, i knoe it cuts down on pirating a bit but no where near enough to justify the pain paying customers have to deal with time and time again.

Ok well i got it working but now the keys are fu#cked up, R does nothing now, it never used to work for smithing but for loot all it worked now i have to click every item in a chest or body to pick up.

Arrghh i take a couple of days break to decorate the house, and come back to a broken Skyrim

was going to treat myself to some mindless slaying - CTD every time i fast travel or go into houses/inns etc

Never did this before the patch.
