Same here was starting to think it was a problem with my wireless keyboard real pain.

Nope, no mods whatsoever. They seem to have sorted out the mouse sensitivity issue (vertical axis was different to horizontal) but just seems to be sluggish in horizontal now. Seem to be getting some major slowdowns at odd places, like when I meet two or three guards on the roads. Never done that before - wonder if they've tweaked the graphics a bit too.

Options selection on menus and speech options still seems a bit hit and miss though...

May try tweaking settings down a bit and see what happens.

Don't know how to roll back an update on steam (and I bought a stand alone copy hoping I didn't have to depend on it). Good job I've done the main story line and it's side/sub quests I'm on now.

The one main thing I keep struggling with is flying dragons. I havn't really progressed much with the main story line. But I see dragons fly around places screaming out and I just cannot get the buggers to land so I can fight them. I'm playing Nord warrior so I tend to run around like a headless chicken firing arrows nonstop and well missing a lot

I try using my FUS RO (unrelenting force) too and it just doesnt land after a while it just flies away never to be seen again

Is there an easier way to get them to land as a warrior. I read that there is a shout which forces dragons to land. But seems crap if I have to progress loads into the main quest line before I can actually fight dragons well.

Dragons wont land unless there is an open space for them to land in, quite frustrating sometimes as its a bit hit and miss in what the game considers to be open.

guess next time I see a big dragon run for the big large open spaces then rather than thinking tactically of fighting big ass dragon is open area is bad idea

I was thinking I could hide amongst trees while it chases me why its flying burning down forests while I leg it through shooting it with arrows like a bad ass

You are all correct and I am very stupid. I must have already selected it. I am not about 16 hours in, and have been chasing so many crashes and problems with texture mods that I can't remember selecting it.

Do I win a prize for being so stupid?

If it is any help, the update disable the LAA patch, so you will have to reapply it if you haven't already. I had constant crashing after about a minute every single time after the update, then i realised that it had disabled it so i reapplied it and hasn't crashed/slowed down once since.

Cool, I'll give it a go when I get in thanks. Is it hardcoded for 4GB, or will it utilise all 8GB of my system RAM? Does the game even need more than 4GB? Perhaps with all the 2048x2048 and 4096x4096 texture mods it would be handy...

I don't know tbh, but the way you do it with CFF explorer is you enable it to "use more than 2gb RAM" so i assume this is the same.

I am leveling up my Smithing atm, level 84 now. Also sneaking but it is a little late in the game for me really i should have done it sooner

I want to see the Dragon in all its glory, but yeah it would be cool to be able to use the environment to your advantage. I'm only a level 15 imperial with a crap hunting box and steel armour. Don't think I'm up to the task of chinning a dragon yet
