I am scoring plenty of goals but every attack against my midfield and defence is falling apart. Doumbia along with Thiago and Diego are awesome. Its just Banega etc that are useless.

I have listed them all now anyway and will just have to stick to my Russia team i think as i cant think of any other teams nor do i have enough coins to make a top one at any league really unless i went silvers or something.

I have 40k, any suggestions?

Just couldn't get him to work properly, Remy played behind him but he kept dropping behind and letting Remy run on, which is pointless when the main aim was for Giroud to be the target man and Remy to just be the playmaker, I really didn't think that team or formation through properly. :(

Waiting on about 5 of my IF players to sell before I can start improving this team but yup it's 4-3-3 and this is what I have so far:

GK: Rui Patricio

LB: Pereira
CB: Rolando
CB: Rodriguez
RB: Joao Pereira

CM: Joao Moutinho
CM: IF Guarin
CM: IF Fernandez

LW: Varela
ST: Saviola
RW: Hulk

Got Van Wolfswinkel for the bench, as well as James Rodriguez, just looking for a few more cheap players to fill the bench and then I just have to wait for the players in my trade pile to sell before I do anything else. Last time I had Helton he was gash, Patricio is taller and has similar stats so he's worth a try.

What didn't you like about them? I made Porto shortly after the game came out and I thought they were fantastic considering all of the players bar Hulk were super cheap.
 
Have to agree K1LL, that team is very average. Rui Patricio is pants, Helton is much better. Rolando is so slow and cumbersome. Joao Pereira, Varela is good though. Moutinho has a great shot but slow reaction.

Think you should build a La Liga team again, it was one of the best squads you had and it didn't cost that much.
 
It's just really average, you can't compete with good la liga / BPL / seria A teams without feeling 'the weaker team'.

I'm never going back to the BBVA, it's way too common and boring, I think I play those type of squads at least once every other game! If this team fails hard then I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong but I seriously think it will turn out to be a decent side. If not then I'll just blow all my coins on an amazing South Korean silver team. :p

You can when FIFA decides it wants to give the crap team an unfair advantage. Which is like... every game. :p

Fair enough, I hardly get matched up with La Liga teams, mostly Brazil, EPL and Serie A. I'd be surprised if your Portugese team will last more than a day before your annoyed by it.

Going for another handicap team? Tut tut. If you have money to spare buy me a Cleverley please. :D
 
Won the final of the advanced cup 2-1. As soon as it ends and we skip the ending cinematic, I get booted from the EA servers. Even though I had won the game, and it had officially ended, I get a loss, dumped from the cup and no coins.

Thanks EA. Sorry, you were too busy sitting on that pile of money than actually improving your notoriously poor servers.

Luckily I keep my own stats, seeing as they're incapable of doing it properly, even the player stats, so I've recorded the win and the trophy on Notepad with the rest of my stats.

But still.

Cavani is terrible this year, Cisse is 10 times better (if your talking Serie A and is french for the link to Ribery, etc.)

I have to say my record shot up loads when I played with the MLS team. I think I won the advanced cup 4 times on the bounce before I sold them! Best thing about using a silver team is that you only tend to get matched up against other silver teams or occasionally low gold teams like 78-80.

In other news Van Wolfswinkel is brilliant for a silver! Just scored a hat trick within about 10 in game minutes, made it 6-0 just after the break and then my opponent left the match so it's looking promising thus far. I'll give it another bash tomorrow when I'm less tired. Been up for 31 hours now. :(
