I really hate that no ping display for yourself thing tho, i mean whats the point in coding it in if its no good to you personally to see if your suffering from high ping on a server.

To encourage teamwork, ask someone on your team what your ping is.

I dont think the B2K maps will have as much replay value as in BF2. However we are changing our 64man Conquest 1000tickets to Back to Karkand only, with ofc the 4 map rotation.

Good to know, thats what stopped me playing BF2 in the end, just the nade spam fest that was Karkand IO

I miss operation clean sweep, was an epic map with the 2 man jets

Is it just me or does the last round played feature on battlelog not working? As i played a game and the round was over in 10 mins then quit and it hasnt shown i had played that round under the bottom left battle reports button/list.

I wouldn't be supprised if we see a few more of the BF2 maps... Next DLC will no doubt be BF3: Speical Forces DLC ------> Warlord

Too early to tell i think thundy, when i did a quick test it booted up fine and i have never had a crashes which drops me to desktop since i fixed the disconnections issue on my previous router with upnp off and since the previous patch.

First time I load up BF3 is used to crash every time. I've loaded it up 3 times today and so far no crashes at all. Take that with a pinch of salt.

Mine is still crashing to desktop every time. Now its starting to annoy me a little .

never had a problem with mine, installed the new patch and bammmm cant connect to any servers, get the black loading screen then it kicks me out saying couldnt connect to server.

A PC restart seems to have fixed this now but was annoying

Frag rounds in the auto shotties are pretty much useless now as is the IRNV from the 10 minutes I played

Just spent a hour on caspian most people are still using IRNV but i only seemed to get killed by people quite close to me as apposed to everybody sniping half way across the map with LMG's. haven't tried it myself as i only use it if every time i die i get killed by it but seems to be a bit better

Just played Siene which was a rape anyway, but even in behind broken trees I can see Orange, close up its as it was... same for Med tbh. Maybe Hardcore mode is different?

Id say the scope is tighter, blurrier at range and people at range look greener (like they have a camo suit on). Not sure if thats what nerf people wanted, but either the patch has not nerfed me, or im easy to please

Close quarter maps its still the scope to use imo for the ease of it. Caspian... maybe more for the spotting in bushes as you can still see orange... not used it on the desert type maps yet.

As with all BF games, the game is brilliant, but is totally dependant on both teams being competitve and actually attacking or defending the objectives.

Its boring and mindless when its a cake walk for either team.

any servers that people recommend?

I usually just try to get on the lowest ping server.
