****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Screen Filter is great! I left the screen on by accident last night while reading an eBook and some sites and the screen on time was over 6 hours, I had less than 50% battery when I went to bed and ended up with this in the morning:

I've had 9 hrs of screen on time when it has left itself on over night. Looks like you could easily double that if you left it on and did nothing.
It doesn't use no where near as much battery when it's not in use, but just turned on to a static screen.

Shame it doesn't have that much life when in normal use :)

I also love JKay settings where you can customise the lockscreen, you can specify various drag actions so I have screen filter set to enable when dragging up, unlock screen left/right and down is camera. Makes things convenient :p

Hi guys, i posted this on xda, but i might get a faster reply here;

I would like to add empty slots/pages to GO Launcher EX, to spread the apps out a little, rather than having 16 on one page, you could do this using the stock launcher, so why cant i do this on GO Launcher EX :confused:, can anyone shed some light?

you can :) from your homescreen zoom/pinch out - you can add new homescreens from there by pressing the blank + screen

Not quite what im after mate, i want to add pages/spread apps out in the app drawer, like you can using the stock TWlauncher; so i can have less than the full page of apps on a page, ie. less than 16. But with the GO Launcher EX you cant have less than 16 apps per page, if you try, it just moves apps from the next page to fill the page you're on. Quite annoying :p:(

Doesn't look very different to Touchwiz on GingerBread apart from settings menus :(

For some reason i thought ICS would let you uninstall stuff you didn't want but I think the Skin/Launcher is not one of those things. I guess I will have to wait for CM or some other ROM if I want to experience Galaxy Nexus-esque interface. The CM I have on my Touchpad came/comes with ADW launcher. Does anyone know if I can uninstall that, which would leave me with just ICS interface (I guess).
