Queue of 250+ on Legion of Lettow lol

I'll echo the statements above though, level 34 on my BH Powertech Tank, the game is great fun early on but as you level you character just feels like its getting stronger and stronger, actually makes you think you could be a Jedi Knight killer, grouping is epic as well so much fun doing heroics and flashpoints.

Woke up early to play (Well, I woke up with toothache after 3 hours sleep and decided to stay up) and now I'm sat in a 300 person queue and it's not even 8am.

The next couple of days should be ... fun.

Anyone got any clues on Taris? Just landing there now on my Inquisitor and I hear it's bugged in that you could end up getting stuck. I read that disabling quest tracking and your map UI options will help? any other things to do before I start? Cheers

Edit: Lol, 280 queue on my server at 8:32 am :(

Well today for me has been the breaking point. Got 3 characters on Frostclaw with TDR and I'm saying goodbye to them all. 5 hours Q'ing for about 20mins playtime because of some problems. It's actually unbelievable if you think about it.

Think I'm going to roll on Kai-Kan, bit of research first. Cheers all.
Sadly I've done the same.

I've abandoned two sets of characters on two servers now - all around L20 odd, just to avoid waiting for each login.

I'm now on Ludo Kress (republic) & Boa Dur (Empire) - I'll be starting up a guild over the next few days (if these servers also don't fill up) - but currently they are OK so far.

I told you mmo communities are ******* thick, all the new players today will flock to the busiest servers because they are busy and mmo players think this is good. Why they didn't ban toon creation on these servers I never know.

On another note are AC stories different? I.e Jedi Guardian different to sentinel or are alll Knight stories the same?

What can also be misleading is that the server status page in game only seems to be about how many people are currently logged in, so a server during the day could be "Standard" yet in the evening could be "Full".

So people seeing these "Standard" population servers might roll on the ones that are already "Full" during the day.

Big problem for me on Tomb of Freedon Nadd is the Spanish on the server.

Yesterday I grouped for a heroic quest with 3 others. None of them spoke English. They didn't tell me that themselves. Nobody replied to any questions I asked in Party chat and then someone said something in Spanish and they all replied.

Anyone abandoning their servers, feel free to come over to Killian Jarro - there are a few OCUK folk here already and we'll be sorting out a guild once we have the numbers.

It's PVE Republic, for the record.

Niman Server at 8:20AM 235th man ..or lady que :(, the point is they should be bloody raising the server cap limits to doubler what it is, penny pitching buggers, going the same way Rift went low caps for a stable release!

In this way we been lucky so far I have only ever seen a different language spoken twice on Niman once on each side, think it was Dutch on the Rep side and Portuguese on the Sith side.

Indeed, my early access was pointless - as all of the servers that were available on release now have stupidly long waits to login.

What they need to do is to not allow character creation on certain servers (if you don't have any characters on there already).

Or give higher level characters a preference in the line, so new players are put off joining full servers - but players who have been there from the start are not penalised.

Failing that, open up free migrations to a number of new servers.

Wow, there has never been a Niman queue this early!

Not good. Cap raise required I fear.

ToFN is going to be simply unbearable for the poor folk on it this evening.

Yup, at this rate the heaviest servers by 5 PM ish are going to be having 3 - 4 hour queues.

Indeed.

Bioware have totally misjudged the demand and handled spreading players out on the servers very poorly.

Unfortunately, they really needed measures in place to be able to lock servers/specific factions on the first couple of days.

All they've done now is given themselves a problem. They are left with a load of (rightfully) stubborn guilds on ToFN/LoL etc that will refuse to move so they have to raise the server cap, if they don't have the ability to raise caps very easily, well, tonight isn't going to be pretty.

Did they just raise the cap on the servers? my friend was at 260 I was at 160 and we both instantly just got in.

Possibly! That sounds good.
