Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Yeah - at sixth form

Update, plugged it in and the dust isn't noticeable at all! It's so amazing, I literally creamed my pants when It came on.

Will have to see what the future brings for dual 27" hazros =]

Received 27C Glass version today, very impressed.
Was fully expecting it not to work with my card but it's fine. Card specs below for those with a 5770.

No dead pixels but there's a tiny smudge of dust or dirt which I'm not too bothered about, its towards the bottom right and not in main viewing area.

Handles Portal 2 and Minecraft which is good enough for me at the moment.

Any adjustments worth making out the box?

i think it's a case of if the risk pays off though they're an absolute unbelievable bargain! an apple cinema screen in a different shell for £350 is what keeps them selling

If they had the non glass version for the same price I might jump on it, but it's extremely retarded having non glass at 50 pounds more.

Although there is a B grade non glass up atm for 300. Not sure what kind of condition it would be in though.

Thank you very much, I too have a 5770, and my WC will be arriving tomorrow :D

Not sure what my specs are exactly but I hope mine works fine just like yours

hmm ya IMO anything but a monitor - ordered returned products from newegg in the states before; but with a monitor you got to wonder; dead pixels, color issues or what not ...

ya Im hoping for a drop in the price of the non glass version here.

was just going to say that I have a feeling that the glass version is priced where it is to compete with another retailer out there.

Guys,

I ordered one of these on Saturday and it arrived Monday but only just getting to play with it now due to work. I'm having quite a few problems but I'm not sure if its me or the monitor.

When I have connected it to my main PC, I get an odd effect as it displays four tiled images of the same desktop (each image is clear but only has 1/4 of the screen). I've tried connecting it as a single monitor or with my 2nd monitor (Iiyama E2607WS) and get the same effect. I also get the same effect on the post & bios screens which makes me think it might be the monitor rather than Windows. The PC is Win 7 x64 ultimate with a GTX460.

I've also tried connecting my laptop (Lenovo T410 in a docking station) but no image is displayed on the Hazro. If I go dual screen with the laptop open, it actually forced the laptop into a really low resolution (256xsomething even lower) and now hangs Windows.

I've used the supplied cable and my own (all dual DVI).

Am I missing something or is it RMA time?

Xav

You might be using a dual-link cable but are you certain you're using a dual-link port? If you haven't already try sticking it into the 'other' port (the one the Iiyama is normally using most likely).

Both DVI connectors on the GTX 460 are dual link so it shouldn't make any difference unless there's a problem with one of them.

Just bought the Hazro HZ27WC (Glass) the other day in the this week only offer, Amazing screen, got a couple of bits of dust under the glass, well one of them is bigger than a bit of dust tbh, I take it theres no way of taking the glass off to fix this?

You may do more damage doing that and add extra particles

No.

Because when you get a bad one it looks like someone has used it as an ashtray!

Turn the monitor off and shine a torch or the flash from your phone on it. They are easily seen then. Problem with mine was I could see 2 or 3 larger ones with the screen off an no other light on it. Noticed straight out the box

I've had my WC non-glass since the start of December. No dust, no stuck pixels. My only issue is a fair amount of backlight bleed particularly from the bottom. Is this fairly standard and common to other owners? It's the only disappointment on an otherwise fabulous monitor. It's definitely bleed as if I lightly press the screen it gets momentarily brighter at the edge nearest the point of pressure. I chose not to return it at the time as there was a distinct concern I might get a worse one in return with one or more or the aforementioned issues.
