Really ****** me off when certain individuals seems to think it okay to receive preferential treatment due to gender or disability! Had a similar thing happen to me last year while out Christmas shopping where by an old bloke on one of those motorised scooters decided he could jump the considerably sized queue (of which I was part) at an ATM by barging in with his scooter.

Cue me entering rant mode (embarrassing my OH) and causing a huge scene, as far as I'm concerned neither age, sex or disability is any excuse for sheer ******* ignorance.

You'll wait your ******* turn ****!

Yep. It is a Mac 10 in that scene, though he does use an Uzi elsewhere in the film.

I take pleasure in seeing women in stilettos walk on to the tube, whilst I am sitting, and forcing eye contact to try and score a seat.

I smile politely and just stay seated. You chose to wear impractical shoes you dumb *****, why should I give up my paid for seat because of that?

It's not just you two but there appears to be a bit of confusion here and attempting to equate what you hear from one individual or a select group vs the codified view of an entire gender (should such an unlikely thing exist). There are doubtless some women who want "equality" when it is in their favour but not at any other time but equally there are bound to be a significant number who are appalled that others are willing to be so nakedly hypocritical in how they expect it to apply.

It's also worth remembering that not all people who express an opinion wanting something will espouse another point of view at a different time so the women who want doors held open for them may not be the same women who deem it condescending of men to offer to open the door for them.

We live in a country where females are demanding equal rights with regards to work, to work in similar roles in military combat.

I see a video the other day of a girl slapping a guy, the guy didnt hit her back as he said "your a girl id get bashed if i hit you back". Well it will only be a few years and there will eb more than enough guys of the newer generation who will hit girls back if they attack them.

Did you do anything wrong... NO........... Are you a good guy, yes because your posting here a about your actions and feelings.

Should you have let her in front. NO....... IF she was an old lady then YES i say YES.
