I hate The Sun

This reminds me: Recently while learning German, I went onto Yahoo.de to download some news stories to translate. The top story was reporting about some super model, and in the body of the article there was a picture of the aforementioned model topless, along with another model. I doubt very much that you would find that here as some people are just so sensitive...

But think of the children...

The problem I have with calling for a ban is that if you are going to start pointing fingers at The Sun and Sunday Sport, what about all the publications that are similar?

I'm not talking porn, which obviously kids shouldn't be able to buy, there are however plenty of men's magazines that feature similar. I remember some years back that even the Max Power type magazines just used to be full of naked girls, to the point where it wasn't even really about cars anymore. Not really into that thing anymore, so it may have changed.

Either ban them all, or don't bother.

You're asking a majority geek-male-orientated forum who predominantly don't have gfs to vote against women getting their boobs out in a newspaper whilst giving a hilariously awful coverage of the news...

Sounds like you came to the right place :p

Ban 'Page 3' and soft porn tabloids that make a mockery of a government that says it takes equality seriously. Page 3 photographs of teenage girl's breasts are exploitative and offensive and 'soft porn' tabloids such as the Sunday Sport send dangerous messages to youth about the sexualisation of women.

"I'm offended whaa whaa". What a stupid bitch.

I hate the Sun but I have far better reasons than the OP.

The Sun is for scumbags and lowlives, and anyone who buys it supports the vile, despicable acts they carry out.

Nope, The Sun is for people who enjoy reading it. Please grow up and stop with the hyperbole.

It's just a newspaper...if you don't like it, don't buy it.

Exactly. We seem to have bred a culture where "I'm offended" is a statement to be taken seriously. In all situations where the offensive material can be avoided (e.g. not buying the newspaper) then it's just a whine.
