its a single player MMO with multiplayer.
its no more an mmo than guildwars is right now
Can you or someone else please clear this up, because I've noticed quite a few people saying it. Is this game really multiplayer and an MMO in the same way that WoW is?
By that, I mean am I really in a world where hundreds of players can be seen running around, interacting with them if I wish etc

It's a Single Player MMO With multiplayer? I can only assume you meant Single Player RPG with multiplayer?
So you confess it has multiplayer, there are thousands of players, it's only and its and RPG... MMORPG?

where are these thousands of players? in there own version of the gameworld? if your lucky a couple of people might end up in the same version as yours
its wierd because in the first beta weekend i remember hundreds of people in the same zone....... it felt like an mmo you would see people almost everywhere.
i see these 200 people queues on my server but even when i go visit coruscant (SP?) for my class missions i might run past 1-2 people
im level 36 but certainly not above the level a lot of people are as im starting to become one of the lowest levels in my guild

you mean when your at the flashpoint area or on the fleet? cos you certainly dont see them on planets. (even on the fleet theres usually only 20 people or so)
warzones filled with players? 8 on each side?
OH HELL YEA THATS MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER...
on a pvp server and barely ever see my own side never mind an enemy.... why do planet areas have different instances for sith and republic? why cant all areas share the same instance for both sides?
why are they artificially keeping us apart?
Go cry to Bioware and cancel your sub then?

Now thats pure lies. I'm on one of the most populated servers. I timed my 8 pvp matches from yesterday through to now. The minimum wait was 3minutes 45seconds. With a maximum of 22minutes. So please stop with the lies.
Also, when did I receive my code late? Got in on the Thursday, received my game on time? Your arguments invalid.
i did cancel my sub and i explained why , hopefully they read it.
just because they sold 1 million copies aparently doesnt mean the game will be a success , WAR sold about the same had massive battles of 200-300 people on each side on the same screen and you actually saw other people when questing , some areas were even full of group mobs (ones that arent behind a green veil for your group only)

Let me go back to the post where you were crying, screaming and shouting about receiving your code late yeah? I'm pretty sure you said you were gonna cancel back then, so why on earth are you playing?
Your server isn't the standard across the whole board. When I play, I manage to find a group quickly.
No. I've played top EU WoW, Guild Wars and a few others.

Im still stuck with a unplayable game thanks to paypal being a bitch and a game code that is ticking away day by day
But from beta i didnt find any issues with not enough people i think with all games and betas the numbers go down on release as players spread out in levels and areas.
The biggest factors are these:
1:When you solo quest is it possible? from beta i can say YES
2:Is it possible to get into a group pretty quick and easy? unsure as not in release.
3:Are there plenty of group quests ie flashpoints to take part in? based on beta YES
4:Is end game too easy to get too, and is there enough content there?
To me the only issue is probably number 2, if they increase server cap too much the game will fail badly as explained many times on offical forums, but they also cannot keep pumping out new servers otherwise they will spread pop out soo much no one will see anyone during their questing.
Point is this, they cannot do anything right atm if people have a negative view of game from the start.....give them a chance ie 2 months in should be pretty sorted...
