I got a couple Ted Bake tie, £12 TK maxx :D HA-Ha!

And no, they are not plain!

i prefer the ties to be plain, the shirts to more stylish, unless of course the shirt has a really strong colour like above then you need a strong tie or else it will look stupid.

that above tie was the one i liked as soon as i scanned the tie rack, i went over to a woman working there and asked her for her opinion on the tie to go with shirt, that was the one of the two she picked out, so basically i knew i was right for picking that one out.

a couple were walking past and spotted my shirt and asked whereabouts in the store it was, had to tell them i got it from house of fraser and not there.

the picture is a bit crap, but the colour is amazing "fuschia" (for the gays) or "bright pink with a dash of purple" if your a man.

as said above i buy shirts for weddings not work, then when a shirt gets worn/duller i will wear it to work. usually go to at least 10 weddings a year. an at least 10 birthday parties a year too. so i need a big range of quality shirts.

You don't need to justify your purchases to us, seriously, spend £200 on a sock for all I care, it's your money. However, calling others' purchases not up to your standard isn't very respectful. Everyone look different and has different tastes so leave it be.

I'll still show you my TB shirt if you like (I like to win a debate :p), and my TB leather bags, Paul Smith bag, DKNY Jeans, Hugo Boss glasses, etc etc but to be frank, it's moot.

take a picture mate, of any of your £30 shirts, i'll take a pic of my £27 one, it will beat it hands down imo.

I could post a recent picture of my wearing a £6 tshirt with a £15 primark cardigan and still look a damn sight better than having Gio Goi or G star plastered all over me :p

For formal wear, Zara beats all and yes, this coming from a chap who use to drop £100 on a pair of Reiss trousers just to go for dinner.

good grief i get the point alright lolz

yeah, its probably the brightest shirt i have ever bought, they are usually a lot "duller" but more stylish with stripes/squares, etc.

but i have never ever seen a decent shirt in tk maxx, in fact the only things i have seen of note in tk maxx are CK boxers, CK belts, some ties, formal shoes and stuff for women and the home.

guys stuff in their is pretty crap, well for my taste anyway.

none of their wallets either are to my taste and i have been searching for a decent wallet to replace my now tatty peter werth leather one which has done me proud for roughly 8 years.

tk maxx isn't as good as what people make it out to be, it's usually stuff which is extremely plain, i'd rather buy shirts from next than get a crap CK one from tk maxx

i have only ever bought an art canvas from tk maxx, the clothes section looked a bit hectic to me though that was a long time ago, things may have changed.

i personally would never wear a shirt as bright as that not in pink anyway but hey, it'd be boring if we all liked the same stuff!

Oh look at you being all popular.

10 big fat gypsy weddings a year or are you a wedding photographer or drinks server, my point is 10 WEDDINGS A YEAR?

im sikh, when i went to india for 6 months (holiday) i probably went to 30 weddings in 6 months, my uncle was a politician though at the time (passed away now) and literally got so many invites and so many boxes of barfi (indian sweets) with every invite, we had to start giving them away.

we are usually invited to about 30+ weddings a year, but a lot of them are far away. i have been to india, canada, london, leeds, birmingham, etc for weddings.

it's a part of our culture and tradition, this year i went to london for one, a few in glasgow, science centre, thistle hotel, etc.

im getting married next year, my best mate 2 weeks before me, my fiancee's best mate 1 week after us. so thats basically 3 extremely close weddings there all in one go.

it's like that every year, same goes for birthday's, anniversary's etc.

sikh weddings are huge and the average cost of a sikh weddings is 40-60K.

we dont just have 1 party either, you get a ladies sangeet, which is the night the women do a bit of traditional singing, and jago, etc. so that is uaully a big party too, and then other smaller parties.

basically when there is 1 wedding your guaranteed at least 2 big parties, in halls/hotels, etc as well as smaller parties for other stuff in marquees in back gardens.

as an example for my wedding i have booked a photographer from london for 6 days, thats because im having 2 parties, fiancee is having 3 parties and then our wedding is on the saturday and the reception on the sunday.

basically you need at least 3 different outfits minimum when your invited to a wedding.

Ordered a new pair trainers or whatever you call them, £35 from £70 so thought it was a decent bargain

it's actually not.

normal versions are £140+

custom versions are £180+ by custom cans.

this is a custom official adidas one, at £200 they were reasonably priced.

at £100 they were a steal

I find this rather amusing that you think £60 to have some blue detailing on an otherwise identical product is not leading to an overinflated price. A saving of £40 is a bargain, but saying it is a £100 saving is just silly.
