Why overtake if someone is doing the speed limit?
Yeah, I try and avoid all those busses that hoon about the place as well since they have cameras.you have a video camera in your car driving on a country road late at night, surly you are one to take corners at speed and drive dangerously??????????????
He was driving fast and dangerous, as most likely you do too..
[TW]Fox;20933036 said:Because they wish to drive faster than you do would appear to be the obvious answer to that question. Given that you presumably also break the speed limit when you retaliate by re-overtaking them...
So it's ok that the CTR owner wished to drive faster than the MX5 if we're going by this logic.
I'm not condoning the move at all, but the post does have a hint of a butthurt driver.
I always drive on the speed limit, if someone wants to be an idiot and overtake me because they have a point to prove.
It depends what they're driving, if it's a baseball cap wearing teen in a Corsa/Saxo/Fiesta/Civic etc then yes I absolutely believe they have a point to prove.
I always drive on the speed limit, if someone wants to be an idiot and overtake me because they have a point to prove I wrongfully get drawn in and will sometimes overtake again if the conditions are right. I don't do this all the time, it's literally once in a blue moon. Maybe I gave the wrong impression from my first post.
This thread has done an excellent job of showing up the idiotic drivers on this forum. Bravo.

Same on trackdays, I'll let everyone pass initially (as is often the rules) but then it's game on.
Civic type R's = gods of the road lmao
blimey i thought we had seen it all then Mr Noxia came along.![]()
I will admit to trying to stop them when on a bypass or long straight main road.
