The big scores seem to come from good team work, 100 per revive if you're medic + health for everyone that boost off it. Same with the ammo in support.

Max I've had is around 6,000 but that was a very long round, nearly 2 hours for 500 tickets.

I am a team player I've had over 70000 in a metro Server I chuck supplies constantly and always help the squad first team second.

Will try that thanks my k/d ratio is very bad anyway lol :rolleyes: one thing in BC2 you had an acend key and down key which I had set the same as my crouch (down) and up (jump) this isnt an option anymore ? which is strange.

PC is as per sig I have a 30" screen running with 4Ghz I7 920 with 2x 3Gb 580 Geforce cards I do always use the map large and zoom out too..:o
 
Origin is working again !

On another note any tips on aiming with a sniper rifle?

Watching some guys on the other team in an upper window and they just seem to side step into view and fire and back again in a flash, I just can't pick a target that quick, plus they seem to get one shot kills. I tried the SV98 and it took three hits to down one guy, each was a body shot and registered on the cross hair yet I side step out of a fraction of a second crouched to aim and I'm one shoted by the same guy I see dancing from side to side in the window. No previous shots from me so I'm not on the mini map. This is from the base in the hall on Metro to the building opposite.

It feels like hacking and he already had be lined up but I know I'm not good in open spaces, better in tight corridors with a shotty though metro is usually just a grenade fest.

Just how do you guys do it?

jesus dont ever play on the big ticket rush servers

hacker magnet, had two on the other team, first guy had 160 kills 30 deaths, the other had 60 kills 0 deaths after on a few mins being on the server

bah just ruins the fun
 
Joined the game with our team getting walked all over, no points capped and half the amount of tickets :D

My three main issues are this:

1/I die 2-3+ times my kills no matter what class /map etc. If I play the game stealthy I end up with 100 points and come last....
2/In a 1 to 1 situation I always loose no matter what combo of kit I use im Colenel 6 so have most kit.
3/I cant fly a helicopter as it goes left or right almost instantly and you cant go on a server on your own so how can you practice ?

I don't consider myself a bad player I was ranked 64 in the world at one point on UT2k4 I know its very different but ...like I said I dont consider myself bad at shooters ????
Another thing for me is I use the arrow keys I've never been able to get on with wasd not matter how many times ive tried.
Connection is 50Mb Virgin so should'nt have a problem there ?

Not sure if serious lol. but if you think heli flying is hard did you try it on bf2 allot more difficult, in some ways the bf3 flight mechanics are far less complicated to be honest.

Also another tip, dont spray and pray. tap the mouse to shoot.. im sure you played counter strike source, if not then get on that and practice a bit. you will die loads at first but eventually you learn how to fire a gun to suit its recoil spray excetera.

Another thing could just simply be your not playing as a team, bf3 mainly relies on team work and working together, one spots and supplies ammo/health/backup while the other kills enemy. If you go at it like a call of duty / unreal tourn approach then you are doomed.

trick is not to try to be stealthy but to stay calm and get in the atmosphere.

The last few games I was in were ****. Never had such BS on that server.
Plus our team gave up and started stupid corridor battles on Bazaar and left the flags. Bunch of kids lol.:p:D
 
I found a bit of a spawn bug in one of the rounds :eek:, I was up in this building with my back against a wall slightly to the right of a cappable flag icon. The game spawned an enemy behind me, partly in open space and partly through the wall!

I died
