And to be honest forcing someone to say sorry solves nothing. If she really felt remorse she wouldve said it on her own accord!

No argument with that. Simply questioning your assertion that the original comment is wrong. I think it is perfectly acceptable, and actually more accurate. In this instance.

I would also say that "someone could hold racist views" as well as a "view with regards to race".
 
Everyone in this forum at some point in their lives has held a 'racist' view.

Only way to get rid of racism is to only have one race of humans, but then there still would be hatred, just on the class level and wealth of people.

We all have prejudice views. This is what makes us human.

What people class as "Racism" will never go away.
 
Looking at her other tweets she seems like a giant fool. And she posts in such a way that make me wonder why the hell anyone would even vote for her. She certainly has a chip on her shoulder and is most certainly racist. Add that to her typical shorted sighted lefty views and it makes her someone I would be happy never to meet.

Plenty of use of statistics for an agenda too without looking at the wider picture about society.

Sack her.

Works from both sides, there are also plenty of young mums who would be able to make an educated guess. I love how she generalises all the time from one persons point of view.

I'd like to see the statistics that sees the % of ALL bankers wives that couldn't answer the salary question. I'm sure she'd dislike the answer.
 
People like her give the real left wingers a bad name.

The irony is, being "left wing" isn't what the media makes it out to be - it's actually pretty basic.

Here were are again, modern Britain and the cult of the offended.

The woman is a bit of an idiot and yes she holds a chip on her shoulder, but I'm white and not offended by what she said.

So she thinks white people want to divide and conquer? Well it was true to some extent and maybe it still is, so what?

A similar statement might be "Black people are unable to run successful societies".

Certainly not true as a sweeping statement, but there are elements of truth in it, but only really in a historical sense as in Diahnne Abbott's crass statement about whites.

Would a white politician be forced to resign if they made such a statement?

Almost certainly.

But should they be forced to resign for saying such a statement?

I honestly don't know. What I am sure of is that there will be plenty of black people who couldn't care less about such a statement just as I don't care nor am offended by Abbots.

I actually think she's alright and no worse than any other politician, she puts her foot in it and has a chip on her shoulder, but those are entirely human faults, I'm pretty sure she's a decent person overall.

She might hold some controversial views, but that's all they are - views.

My concern is that this uncompromising attitude regarding race is turning our society into a restricted and muted collection of politically correct apologists which is preventing true freedom of speech and demonizing people for holding what are purely natural human views.
