Knifing is a bit garbage, why cant it just be a simple press button, knife lunges out. No need for theese stupid animations.

Knife animations are awesome. I have never had a problem knifing someone. One click and done! Nice tags bruv!

"Knife lunges out" reminds me of COD. Yuk!

Bit more research on the forums seems to show this is a bug, surprise surprise. Happens with certain weapons and certain sights, in this case the MG36 and Kobra sight. Doesn't do it with the QBB-95 with any sight. As I recall I think I unlocked the MG36 on Wednesday so obviously this was the problem. Will just have to lump it until I get the weapon star so I can forget this gun till they fix it.

Would be interested to see if others are suffering this issue with this gun and sight though, to see if there is any common denominator. If you've unlocked this weapon see if you get the same stuttering as I get in the vid above.

I use the MG36 with the Kobra with no problem at all [580 3gb] Could be that the sight in the video is the holographic not the kobra. I gave that combination a go and had the same problem, not quite as pronounced, but noticeable.

Never mind, only 200 kills to the kobra!

I find the knife ok in bf3, I got 8 knife kills yesterday in one match 5 in a row lol

Even had some guy try to knife me and miss so I knifed him

Q button for spotting people and melee attack to knife people. Just be very close!

I used the Soflam for 5 rounds a couple of days ago and hardly anyone used it. Balls to them. I only do it on request now.

I'm having loads of problems with the game at the moment. It's been fine since I installed it but now I get 3 disconnects before I get a game!!

I've started getting disconnect during map change and I'm getting random kicks from the game, now the b3.exe is starting to play up.

will take you 5 -10 mins on a knife only map, most allow the repair tool(although you'll always get people moaning!)

That doesn't always work like last night, You'd go to knife someone be at close range and right behind them and you'd just slice with no animation. Try again slice, no animation. Sometimes you'd knife someone get their tags go after the next person and the knife would stay out but wouldn't slice or kill.
