They only hack to wind people up, they don't care about stat resets etc. They win every time as we all get rage about it and we all post about them. They love it

I'd guess close on 20% of people are hacking. Only have to watch the kill cam snapping to positions and firing in a tight scene because they are too stupid to wait 10 seconds for kill cam to expire before killing their next victim or consider the 700m snipers who hit a moving target with a headshot while standing or even target you as a prone sniper on the first shot as you've sneaked over a hill. Very few people are that good yet on a number of maps there will be many snipers sat up high getting repeated head shots.

Lets not mentions Tanks that kill in a single shot from 200 yards when they were engaging in the opposite direction and Snipers that get up and hide the second you get the scope on them... how do they know...? Easy there is a big flashing banner at the top of the screen.

Smart hackers don't go 200 - nil, they take a few deaths to keep the k/d ratio in balance but use the 3D visibility and aim assist to up their score. I was shot down in a jet while doing fast, low pass yet I've dumped thousands of rounds from AA and it's tough to get any hit markers on a jet, you may get a little smoke but to get a full knock down in a single pass is nigh on impossible though the heat seekers are an easy hit if you fire... wait flares and fire again.

For me, this is the biggest problem Dice face, if hacking is a tiny amount then fine they can sort it, if hacking is a big percent of the sales then they can't afford to be too tough as they'll trash all their customer relationships which they really don't want to do.

Sure there will be a few token and public bannings / resets for the real pee takers to get some media attention but they'll be working away in the background to try and sort it quietly. The new multideath hack is a game changer, I' sure this will force some sort of response as until now it was an annoyance. The multi death hack is both very obvious and is provoking real anger ....

ok...all of a sudden today I keep getting constant crashes and punkbuster kicks. Ive updated punkbuster using the pbsetup thing...and it still happening. Any ideas??
 
today i encountered a cheater, everytime we respawn, we immediately die. Cant remember the cheater's name though. Don't know what they get for cheating.

When does this mode turn out to be a benefit? Ah yes when a helicopter flies over and it can tag it. Whoop dee doooo, tag anything else doesn't benefit the guided shell and you still have to hope the enemy vehicle is in range and not above the tank turret's maximum angle.

I wonder what would be more fun, sitting doing that, or a repair/rpg combo?

A two man tank crew who`s second member does both the citv station,machinegun and repairs the tank is a pretty full on role.Try it sometimes you won`t be bored.
You can switch between the positions as and when you need too.
 
BF3:

A Let down to BF2 vets.... I admit it here and now!

I wish time could stand still and people play BF2 forever, that way people would never have to upgrade and be happy with a great game!

I hate PC gaming... That is all good night!
 
i have banned 5 ppl tonight on our server for using hacks,even when kick and banned kills was still going up even though they where not there :confused:

pb/ea/dice need to sort tis asap as this has got bad over the last 2 nites :(
 
In comparison to BF2, BF3 is "meh" I was never as frustrated with BF2 as I am with BF3 now.

I am now pulling my hair out over useless teams that cannot take out AA. For a good hour I spammed Q, told them on chat where it was and sent attack orders to go and nail the guy. Sitting in between the silos etc just nailing all the jets. No one tapped him, our air was useless. Ended up killing myself, losing my streak and rpg'ing him myself.

I'm getting fed up of people playing this game like COD. This is not COD. It is great because it is not bloody COD. Stop playing it like COD.

/QUOTE]Tbh, the game is a clunky console port pos. Crap netcode, terrible option screen layouts, a cheat fest, crashes more times than a demolition derby car. Ive started to play a bit more bfbc2 as it is far better, and reinstalling moh 2010, which is pretty good as well. Im fed up with the garbage that is battlefarce 3.

I would say two things are at play here:

1) You seem in general very frustrated with this game. You're frequently posting on these forums to vent these frustrations; things like that are poisonous, once you start picking at something, it becomes irrelevant to whether it's real, big or small, it will become all you focus on and it will destroy your experience. So you start your night probably somewhat optimistic for a few rounds, but slowly those things you pick at start eating at you and a sizable chunk of your concentration goes into that; you start sucking; you only start picking at them more, you get yourself into the state were thinking clearly / rationally has been abandoned and you believe your own hyperbole.

2) You play publics. You aren't playing fixed teams of known players of known ability, you're playing random players. You get your 40-10 score or w/e and you think that hey, I'm pretty good at this, most people suck and I can always easily be assured of doing very well anytime I play. The people you're up against and most importantly the people you're playing with are rarely at the forefront of self assessment when you get a good score. Any game mechanics you may have been using to your favor or just wound up in their detriment almost certainly don't.

However, you go 10-20, terrible game... MY TEAM SUCKS!, now all of a sudden the players you play with are #1 on your hit list, hell where they even doing anyway? OMG THAT WEAPON IS BS / THAT GUY IS PROBABLY HACKING! now game mechanics and the like are riding high. No where present will be any criticism of how you played that round. Also -- the most important factor in all this -- the people you played against.

They're random remember? 999/1000 it wasn't any excuse, it was merely you having played in the past against people worse than you, which you danced all over to a merry saved scoreboard screenshot vs you now playing against people better than you, which you don't take too well.

You spoke my mind Spektor, and Setter and the old MOH insult I'll ignore. (Do you really play that game Setter?)

Right about the netcode, I agree and could be wrong here though I think there is too much going on for it ever to be spot on. I just think of when two jets are taking off together, the other plane usually always sort of lag stutters, because of the speed and the code catching up. I reckon at any time the representation of where real world players are in the game is upto a good second out maybe more, regardless of ping.
As I said could be wrong, though would bet cash I am right.
Also bored of the game now and couldn't even bring myself to have a game last night, loaded up BL and thought meh. :D

Today is the day i take my pc to bits and clean it head to toe and rebuild it likes its brand new.

After that im getting a game started. :cool:
 
What a great rush game! Got called a noob for taking down team with a PDW-R haha. Also, gotta love mortar fire when they try to disarm mcom and go splat.
 
Had to quit 5 games yesterday due to people hacking. Strangely it wasn't even aimbotting, they were just killing everyone instantly wherever they were on the map. Got killed twice and the guy doing it wasn't even on the same part of the map?

By far the worst game I've played for hackers. :(
