:) I'm on a roll this year. Seen these thus far. 10 in 17 days, not bad considering I work 5 days a week and get in at 7.30PM


1. Melancholia
2. Crazy, Stupid, Love
3. Troll Hunter.
4. Haywire
5. 500 days of summer (Again)
6. Kill List
7. Cell 211
8.Tyranosauur
9.Girl with the Dragon Tatoo (Fincher)
10. The Artist.

Perhaps Shame tomorrow.

i thought melancholia was great, lots of people didn't like it, i thought it was a bit magic and crazy, stupid, love was good as far as chick flicks go!

i want to see cell 211 but am struggling for hc subs and i've got tyranosaur to watch too. i enjoyed troll hunter but not so much seeing a lovely mk1 golf get totalled :(

saw the trailer for haywire today, looks worth a watch and so does kill list.

not sure if i'd like the artist or dragon tatoo and 500 days of summer was on c4 the other sunday, was ok i suppose.

check out war horse if you haven't seen it, decent flick.

Melancholia was a horrible film to watch but outstanding. I really recommend Cell 211, it's very entertaining. Haywire was okay, got to see it for free at a lovely screening room too :)

If you watch any of the films i've seen though make sure it's tyrannosaur

Warrior - 8.5/10
The Guard - 7/10
30 Minutes or Less - 6.5/10
50/50 - 6.5/10

More I will remember...
 
The Players Club (1998) - Early Ice Cube movie about a strip joint, very funny in parts thanks to Bernie Mac (RIP) but a bit slow paced - 5/10
 
Predator

Not sure about the Blu Ray release as they all look like waxwork dolls but classic film nonetheless

Blood Out

Revenge cop/drug dealer film (straight to DVD) with lots of well known people, which I knew wasn't going to be great from the Lovefilm reviews.
Going through the film I thought it was not too bad and probably 6.5/10. As soon as the last scene happened, I was like WTF, immediate 3/10.

Normal police officer turned gang banger suddenly is able to throw a car:eek::eek::eek:
 
Paranormal Activity 2 - No story expected after the first one, but as a straightforward horror it was good, certainly made my wife jump often enough, not much else to it, there are fair worse ways to spend 1.5 hours. 7/10
