Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

working on my new BF3 sig so i don't have to put my battlefield name at the bottom of every post.

work in progress so don't worry if it looks weird some of the time.

Also for those that know me from matts server, gonna be pretty busy for the next few days so won't be around much. might make it to the match on saturday though

Don't type in UK .... set the region preferences to UK only.

If you open it up then you can select Europe and untick all the other countries.

The lack of teamplay on almost every server I've been on recently is appalling. I really want to enjoy this game, but other people are just retarded. I feel like I'm just going through the motions at the moment, playing for the sake of playing; hoping everyone else on my team will stop sniping/mortaring and praying that the other team can resist rpg/m320 spamming or driving the ****ing MAV into people's faces.

Make friends and then play on the same servers as them.
 
The one thing that winds me up in this game is people using MAVs to get onto places they shouldn't get to. As a sniper, this promotes massive base raping. Strike at karkland for example, brilliant map, yet ********* like this just use a MAV to get to the roof of the highest building, set up a spawn point and start shooting right into the attackers base.

So bloody lame.

Possible fix next patch.
 
Just had a few games, done one on Damavand Peak? I think, easily the most fun I have had playing BF3 yet, there was one massive hallway thing that had a epic battle :D
 
Well thanks to Lethagized we finally figured out what was causing my BF3 crashes.

THE BLOODY REALTEK AUDIO DRIVER!!

If anyone is suffering intermittent system freezes, which occur completely randomly, try disabling your sound from your bios (usually it's onboard sound) and then run BF3 and test thoroughly.

After installing my Asus DX, it's running without a single crash.
