What is the upper limit? my original samsung charger is long gone (stolen at work...sigh) but i'm fairly sure my HP touchpad charger charges it quicker than my sammy one did. I know either of them are a damn sight quicker than charging via the pc, but i've just taken a look and my pc pushes....96mA to my phone for charging....so that would be why it takes forever![]()
There's no upper limit to what the charger can give afaik, as the phone will only draw what it wants to. The max the phone will charge is 650mA:
(And never can - charging turns out to be handled by a different chip with three fixed current limits - 90, 400, and 650 mA.)
