There's no upper limit to what the charger can give afaik, as the phone will only draw what it wants to. The max the phone will charge is 650mA:

(And never can - charging turns out to be handled by a different chip with three fixed current limits - 90, 400, and 650 mA.)

What kernel & modem are you using? Have you tried others? Can't say I have too many problems & if I do it just goes onto roaming with orange. This is with three I noticed this the other day when I couldn't get three signal.

I was hoping the upgrade to ICS would bring the UI of the Nexus to the SGS2.

went this route in the end. if i don't tick "Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server" will hotmail close my account down or will they know it's still active?

fixed this btw, no idea if theres an easier way but i rooted > titanium backup > removed swype and google voice, now it defaults to samsung IME with no popup notification.

Won't ever happen.

Firstly because there are people in the world who have brought it for the Touchwiz interface(might not be many but there are certainly people).

Then people who have no idea what the launcher is but if its changed to something radically different it'll confuse them & they'll start blaming Samsung for changing everything.

Many reasons why you'll never see it. If you wanted pure ASOP looks you should have gone with one of the Nexus range.

Ultimately you could try many of the ROM's around that are trying to bring the Nexus look to the SGS2

Also I think Samsung are trying to build their own OS that has the TW look which would make it as easier transition for its customers.

I think Samsung are going to dump Android and make their own OS. They want total control of everything.

their OS (bada?) only has a foothold in s.korea afaik. in europe it's narrowing down to android and iOs (only nokias old ones die off and rim DIAF). although i hope microsoft gets off their asses and pushed winp7 properly. not that i want to use it (i'm a droid person) but i'd rather have a 3 way race with 3 strong players. better for us end users

Probably a stupid question but had you selected the use as default check box underneath where you select the input?

Edit: Actually, it doesn't look like you get the option for keyboards? Mine's always selected Swiftkey fine so never paid attention, just remember the default thing on web links.

Edit again: What's Eyes-Free Keyboard? I seem to have it installed :confused:

been doing a bit of digging and it seems to affect the Nexus and all 4.03 firmwares... it's annoying, well, was

also, my usb jig seems to not want to get rid of the triangle since going to cf-root/LPB. any ideas? do i need to flash back to an older bootloader?

The keyboard thing would annoy me since I use a third party keyboard so couldn't just delete all the other keyboards (unless Swiftkey works in /system/app, not all third party keyboards do)

Has anyone tried any of the custom XXLPB builds on xda? I tried İCS REMİX ROM v8.6, but my battery died in a few hours due to the media scanner. I thought it was a problem with this rom but apparently it's a general thing with XXLPB.

I can't remember whether it was the untouched one or a custom one, but a page or 2 back mrk had the same problem with LPB.
