got an annoying problem with my handset now, in that there's a delay with voicecalls, so I keep talking when the other person talks and vice versa. Is this a hardware issue? have tried various modems and still have the same problem.

don't think it touches sd card, in ICS there's a separate tick box to format the sd, think it's similar in gingerbread, can't remember.

Factory reset in recovery doesn't touch SD, I've never tried using the one in the actual OS so can't comment on that.

I've used the inbuilt OS factory reset once before (with no external sd) and it totally formats the sd card unlike CWM reset.

I'd just like to know if it does the external card as well.

Can you post us a link on how you got the ps3 controller to work on the phone? (not interested in the emu).

I just want to play r-type without the touch screen as it's doing my head in

Does anyone use Samba Fileshare on Checkrom? I've been using it without problem on Hyperdroid but after flashing my Checkrom backup and installing Samba it doesnt work.

My desktop can see the device but when i try and connect i get the error message below.

Anyone know what might be causing it?

Thanks

i'm never keen on trying roms made by randomers, or roms called LULZROM 4.23 etc. You really should try the Samsung LPB leak and remove all the crap with titanium backup.

Have you noticed any problems with the stock LPB leak?

I wasn't sure if it was the custom rom that I used or LPB in general, but I had a lot of apps hang and require me to force end them in settings before I can open it again. Might have been because I restored everything with titanium backup? :p

Got my phone back from Samsung, they received it last friday with a USB fault and i got it back today, in the same condition i sent it but minus the fault sent via special delivery and packed pretty well. So pretty great service for me.

Note the part where I say true to AOSP.

Like other ROMs (CheckROM etc, as slick as AOSP but as good as Samsung.

Just reading the last few pages of that thread, seems the dev stole work from other devs, didn't give credit and has been suspended :p Not sure if any development will continue.

I haven't read that far yet :/

If that's so then arse! There are a few UI stuff I don't like and if dev doesn't continue then sod this, back to Nandroid we go!

Shame as I did like it actually, everything seemed to work nicely and no Titanium Backup restore issues.
