I seem to get that urge to want to start playing this again, but think I'll just be disappointed if I do start again. Wouldn't really want to start a new character (current/old character was flying Megas fairly well for missions) but can't remember the state with my old character.
I knew I joined a corp/alliance that was starting to move operations in to low-sec and we started some pretty sizable fleet battles in our area (talking 50 or so ships a side which was quite pretty) but I stopped playing before everything escalated too far - which means I've probably got ships and resources all over the place with a whole lot of negative standing with other people!
The one thing I didn't like a huge amount was the large time you could spend solo'ing missions - even in high-sec I wasn't someone to trust a random person to run missions with me. Had a couple of mates that I would occasionally play with and do a few mission runs together, but it was usually me doing 80% of the work which wasn't too fun... Guess I just like grouping up with people - strength in numbers right?! Plus it gives you someone to talk to![]()
I'm sort of in the same boat, but from another angle. I'm tempted to re-sub but I was in a strict mining/production corp (I never did pvp). Despite the boring nature of mining, somehow I still got right into it

Anyway, I was/am a noob learning and sadly after 6 months of play our SEO died (in RL). Things got fragmented and I was left floating and found things pretty hard going - I guess that was part of my problem. But anyway, not sure whether to start a new character from scratch or carry on learning things for mining...
