And here's what you get once your connection is 'fixed'

Feels like I'm beating my head against a brick wall, how can they say there's nothing wrong?

To get out of Virgin? Nothing.
Complained via the Neil berkett Email and went through process. Got out of my contract although they messed up porting my number over to BT so I've had to change my land line.
Now I pay £30/month for BT inc line rental. Will be £35 after 3 months so only £5 more expensive than Virgin. But for something that works, it's worth it
It's atrocious tonight. Someone on Vent told me I was "teleporting" around on BF3. Had to quit in the end.

isn't virgin better than bt infinity?
Are you on the Watford UBR too? Mine doesn't seem so bad at the moment, this is my graph from yesterday:

Hi Chris, thanks for your email.
I'm sorry still no update as the UBR isn't failing KPI
Stats For Week Beginning 06/02/2012
Weekly Peak BW 17.83 Mbps
KPI Status Of Port Within Limits
Total Time > 99% 0.10%
Total Time > 90% 0.75%
Total Time > 80% 2.54%
Time over 99% isn't above 10% for it to fail, so although it is still on the list of ports to be done, there is no dates yet sorry, and although there are a few occasional errors these have been fixed on the UBR and no unfixable errors recorded.
Kind Regards
Andy
I'll check when I'm home this evening. What's the first part of your hostname? If you go here it'll tell you.
Mine's cpc*-watf10 - I'm guessing you're on a different network segment (the number after watf) to me?
I'm going ahead and upgrading from 10Mb to 30Mb via the website. It says that no installation is needed. Will my current old ntl blue modem handle such speeds? And the speeds that will be 60Mb when the upgrade goes ahead?
Depends on the area. Although Virgin do have their issues, BT Infinity are not without them.
Don't know if i'm in the right thread or not, did anyone else get an email from VM saying their bill will be increased by £3.50 come April?
I knew an increase was in the works due to the new speeds coming this year.
