What film did you watch last night?

Tomorrow When the War Began 1/10 Lost interest and turned off. One of the teenage girls had a decent cleavage hence the 1.

Ironclad 1/10 Lost interest and turned off. The affair girl who was in American Horror Story is in this and had a decent cleavage hence the 1.


Unbreakable 8/10. I know many don't like M Night Shamalamanan films but this one was really good.

True Grit 7/10. Decent film not as random as some of the other Cohen bro films.

I also like that film. It's definitely one of his better ones. He has made a lot of crap though. The Happening was an absolute turd of a film. The only redeeming thing about it, was Zooey Deschanel.
 
The Wrestler - 8/10 Very good film, brilliant directing from Darren Aronofsky and great acting from Mickey Rourke.

Tyrannosaur - 10/10 Brilliant British film, great acting from Olivia Colman, much more gritty than I thought it would be.

Super 8 - 6/10 Not bad, but felt all to similar to other films.
 
No Strings Attached - 3/10 - Pretty awful, I know it came out first, but it is really just a poor version of friends with benefits
 
Star Wars: Return of the Sith on Blu-Ray.

Must say, I'm pretty impressed with the Blu-Ray remake of the set of films... crystal clear and great definition on a 50" LG plasma through PS3. Watched the first 2 a few weeks ago.
 
Just watched part of the Faculty. Seen it a long time ago in the cinema and and was a good watch.
Thought I recognised the face of one of the American football players but couldn't put my finger on it. I saw the credits at the end and it was Usher. Didn't realise he was an actor before his singing career.
 
Trollhunter - I wasn't expecting too much from it but I was oddly sucked in by in. Not fantastic, but far from poor - worth a watch, I've seen a lot worse 6.5/10

I love history and at times get disheartened when a the directors loose touch at what they are trying to achieve. In this case to tell an accurate account of Hitler and his countrymen's last days.

This is another level, the acting from the entire cast is immensely good. The movie goes into great effort to give you a real insight and most probably the best insight we will ever have of Hitler's last days. The plan, the idea to destroy Germany within to leave the Allies nothing but dust, the exaggerated idea that Germany could still win and above all the loyalty Hitlers men (most of them) and woman gave to him until the end.

I recommend this move to anyone, i was completely taken in by it and it will be one that i watch again and again.
