Games you enjoyed that are not well known!

The first football management game I bought was Ultimate Soccer Manager. Came on 2 floppy disks and was an amazing amount of fun. Also a few years after that was the original Fifa Soccer Manager

They were both so much easier to play than the recent management games, all far too complicated now :(

Good replies, played most of them and I can see why some are not well known :D

ARMA 2
MW3

e.t.c are well known though, come on people think :p

In all my years on the net I've never met another soul who played Psi Warrior on the C64. You played this psychic on a hoverboard infiltrating a disused missile silo that was being used by incorporeal monsters to control the world.

You were on a hoverboard because they'd electrified the floor to keep people out :)

You shot out a net to absord psis and ids, but you had to balance your intake of the two or you slowly died. Very weird, but very good game. Until you got to the end, because the boss was impossible to kill :(

Like most Domark titles, it came with a very cool novella to set the scene.

I played it! However I was only a kid at the time and didn't really understand what I was doing so I didn't get far. Very atmospheric though, which I appreciated even at that age.

Sub Culture?

Omfg. Blast from the past. :)

I remember getting mega excited over reading about that in magazines when I was about 11. Never got round to playing it though.

Also, Return Fire!

Originally released on the ill fated 3DO, it came to the Playstation and also to the PC - which is what I played it on.

I loved this game :o

There was an awesome PS1 game that I absolutely loved, it was a strategy game with giant robots that you not only designed yourself but also wrote the AI for, which was most of the fun. Can't for the life of me remember the name though.

Some pretty well known 'obscure' games being listed.

Well here's one I bet none of you have heard of, let alone played.

Back in 1989 I paid a classmate £5 to rent his PC Engine for a weekend.

One of the games was this:

Being a huge fan of the TV series 'Monkey' and platformers in general, I loved this. The graphics were the best I'd seen on a home system to that date and I even remember having to take the instruction booklet down to our local Japanese store to ask them to translate some of the instructions.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll think of some other genuinely obscure games later.
