What film did you watch last night?

TinTin!

I have fond memories of the cartoon, waking up on weekend mornings to catch an episode and so on. The movie was a blast, the curiousness of Snowy and TinTin were mirrored perfectly in CGI and speaking of CGI, probably the finest quality graphics I have seen since Rango, in many scenes it looked almost real.

It has some really quick jab one liners and a healthy running of comedy that spans the whole film as well and I didn't feel it dragged at any point either.

I give it 9/10 really, mainly because it exceeded expectations I had as I thought they might have ruined the flavour of the characters when I first heard about the movie.

Do I even need to give a review? The best of the Marvel films so far. My only gripe was that War Machine wasn't bought in until the second film.

Great CGI
 
Planet of the Apes 1-5 and the latest one, all yesterday :)

6.5/10 for the series.

The first 2 were better than the others, even the new one to be honest. Just had a better plot.

Three Kings - Perfectly capable, but I think it suffered for trying to do many things. It wasn't funny enough to be an all out comedy, it wasn't political enough to be a full on satire, the action was good but nothing spectacular...
 
The Wrestler. 7.5/10

It was a solid film, I'm not sure I liked the ending, but it was a suitable ending, it just didn't gel with me per say. Very good acting by both Rourke and Tomei.

OK, fair enough. I actually agree that it's fabricated to an extent, but I wouldn't have said that was obvious from the film itself.
 
Seen "This Means War" Typical McG comedy, rather predictable but a good chunk of the audience had a laugh a minute, think it's because I've been exposed to a large amount of his TV efforts in the last few years. I would rate it 4/10
 
Law Abiding Citizen (on tv recently)

Great film 8/10

was fun watching and wondering how he was going to try to bring down the whole corrupt system. v good gerrard performance.
