Either way, people bar you as far as I know have no problem with current one: Don't fix what isn't broken.
That's like saying don't improve anything because living in a cave has been OK up to now
Whether it's broken or not depends on your viewpoint, all I know is I went to the station, couldn't figure it out and chose to walk instead... that's probably 90% my problem but still.
Like I said, none of this affects me because I'm never going to build near spawn, and if the map extends then I'll probably move further out. If everyone else wants to build a tall tower or whatever then tickety boo, I was just thinking of ideas for a community project.

As for Minecraft related stuff it looks like FT may have sorted out the lag and a few Admin command issues we were having but this may of affected the Hell World so that plugin may not be returning as soon as we hoped. With Minecraft 1.2 coming out today there might be a delay on getting the mob arena/pvp plugin back as we may just wait for 1.2 rather than fussing around with the plugins only for the all to break again next week, we will see how fast bukkit is this time.
WARNING! Do not update your Minecraft to 1.2 (which is coming out later today) if you wish to continue playing on the server, only update once there is an announcement from Frenchtart or one of the Admins in this thread or on Linktart.

I can't confirm it yet as there still may be issues but it looks like it could I been multiverse, that at least messed up a few admin permissions which seem to be working now. Will need to have a word with FT about the server resources though to see if the spikes are still happening. I didn't notice any disappearing blocks and such last night, there might of been some lag + dcs but that was due to admins breaking stuff

somewhere in there is my home, could you tell me which one it is.
it would be much easier to type/home than use a complicated trail line. The current track we use is simplified, you can see other build's, not only that it's more scenic, having an + for each build would be so confusing of which line to take it would become somewhat frustrating.
however with your build why not build your own train station connecting up to the current line. it's all about the easiest way to get from A -> B, however the above is a good idea it would mean mining would become annoyance of accidental greifers, people accidently getting 3 ban or even worse. thats why the sky trail line was implemented.
Minecraft version 1.2 (actually 1.2.1) is now officially released!
Get it by updating the game in the Minecraft launcher.
Features include:
- New jungle biome
- Added ocelots
- Added cats
- Added iron golems
- New AI for mobs
- Tame wolves can have puppies
- Villagers will have children if there is room in their village
- New map height limit (256 instead of 128)
- New items and blocks
- Doors have been updated so that double-doors work better with redstone
- Added rare drops for mobs
- Many other minor tweaks and fixes
In addition, the Minecraft launcher has been updated. The new launcher should properly select 64 bit Java installations for Mac OS X users.
As always don't update yet if you want to actually play on LT for the next 1-3 weeks....
