We only have a 380 testing sample sadly. The more expensive set will be superior but only if you want the surround sound capabilities. As we are pretty much UK first on these, it is unlikely that there will be any reviews yet :(

Hi Guys

I have come back to work after my annual leave to see a pair of the 380s on my desk.

listening to some music now, they are about as light as my Steelseries Siberia V2
sound quality of the music is brilliant, really impressive from a £30 set.

with computer headsets, I personally always look for something that is lightweight. comfort during long gaming sessions is important and this is clearly a factor that has been considered with these.

also to note, the cable with the older Gamecoms was always a little bit poor. These new ones have a superb cable length and the quality of the cable is a lot better.

This doesnt feel like a £30 set, and it certainly doesnt sound like one even using my work PC's rubbish onboard sound.

Going to try them out on a sound card later and see what improvement there is.

The headband of my 367's snapped a couple of months ago (still in warranty if I can find the original receipt and bother to get them sent back) and I replaced them with corsair hs1a'. Nice and very detailed headset but very bass light for a 50mm driver. Would have prefered to get these if they where out. Might even buy some and test them vs my hs1a's but I feel the hs1a's would be on the MM at the end of it.

the bass on the 380s is actually very good for a value set.

as I mentioned in the post before yours, I am going to test them on a sound card to see what they are really capable of

Nice on I look forward to reading it. I find it annoying if I use hy hs1a's I have to turn the bass up and then if I use my logitech 5.1 surrounds I have turn the sub down when I didnt have to do this with my plantronics.

Just given them a go. superb is all I can say.

They sounded brilliant on the rubbish sound chip on my works PC motherboard, but they come alive on a sound card. really rich and vibrant.

I tested using a Xonar DX and the set remained clear and sound was precise even at louder volumes. In my opinion, they rival headsets costing over twice as much!

Definitely on my recommendation list for anyone looking for a headset, not just a budget one either!

Looks like im ordering later when I get back from work at that price. I would like to try the 780 but that would make my fatal1ty x-fi redundant so I think I will just go for the 380. :)

A friend of mine purchased one of these elsewhere and have found that the volume control rattles when moving their head. Did you find anything similar when testing?
