Battery life so far so good!

200mhz - 1000mhz - ondemand, 2000mah battery.

Started off with Edge in the morning, wifi rest of day, edge on to save battery when wifi on.

Gmail pushing, whatsapp, haxsync, and weather syncing also exchange on sync.

Not done nothing taxing just playing around getting the feel of the rom. Real battery test will be next week when my exchange emails are hammering in and with all day 3G and streaming music via spotify traveling to work.

Going to load up bezke's AOKP on my sisters S2 to have a side by side comparison on both roms. She's a much heavier user than me so will be good to see how battery fairs on that rom as well girls don't stop texting each other!

I don't know if it's because I get poor reception where I am but my connection seems to move between 3G and H every 20 seconds or so.

Anyone else noticed this before?

I agree some of the posts I've seen from him!

Both running just as well as each other though. Only time will tell how battery fairs but I think both using the same kernel so should be pretty similar.

The options to customise are brilliant and Apex is the bomb!

Working for me on KL1 modem, tested using GPS test.

It shows 3G when it's on network and changes to a H when it's actively using data

the generic update for all samsung galaxy s2 mobiles isnt out yet, there was mention of 15th march for the update but that date was pulled from news. so im hoping by the end of this month all s2's can get the ICS update.

Try checkfus, google for further info.

Or the other option you have is to flash a stock rom via odin. Stock roms can be found on XDA forums or via sammobile.
 
After reading the last few pages of this thread i decided to install the Hydrog3nics rom since i have yet to try ICS or anything related to Cyanogenmod.

I only ever have 2 homescreens so in the trebuchet settings i set it from the default 5 to 2 but upon doing so the default clock and two apps below were gone. This wouldn't be a problem if simply add them back but i cant find the life of my figure out how to add apps/widgets/shortcuts etc. to homescreens.

Coming from Checkrom i also miss being able to enable/disable data and other such things from the drop down statusbar, is there any way to add them?

Ah modem, I thought you meant kernel. I could not get a GPS lock outside tonight when I went to a friend's new house and forgot the address mid way (!) so used cell tower assisted location on the Maps app to direct myself manually (worked quite well too might I add, very accurate).

Will investigate and try other modems perhaps.

Click the apps tray then swipe to the widgets pane :p
 
I tried while I was outside my girlfriend house having a smoke, GPS test didn't lock in the 5 mins or so I was outside.

edit: must have quoted my image instead of editing the post earlier. reason I said modem was due to somebody else quoting you mentioning it.

Is there an app that will allow me to view more apps on each application screen? I'd like to do so without rooting my phone if possible.
