*** Mass Effect 3 ***

example.. the Volus NPC (Barla Von?) in the Citadel bank gives a quest which needs to be turned in before the attack on the Citadel, otherwise he has disappeared from the bank and the quest is incompleteable.

There may be others affected too, as I read on the wiki that the recommendation is to hand everything in which needs completion in the Citadel before you do the Krogan missions.

Also, on the Normandy I am asked to chat with Ashley, yet she is not at her place in the Observation Deck.. I cant find her on board anywhere

He doesn't disappear, he moves to the sets of couches to the left of the shop stall. If you bring up your map, he is listed as an item of interest after the Cerberus attack on the Citadel.

Just done the Thessia mission. So far the game has been absolutely brilliant. Some truly epic and emotional moments......I kind of don't want to finish the game now, if the endings are that bad:( Gonna ruin it!

Does the Prothean guy have much to say regarding the crucible/catalyst etc? I may have to 'acquire' him for my next playthrough

WTF!! Just after thessia I get this emo message from Kai Leng:confused: ....this isn't facebook! It is even signed KL......

I've been reserving judgement on this until I'vwe completely finished it however last night I did the Rachni queen mission and have to say whoever wrote it needs a handshake especially for the end part with Grunt going all gung-ho!

Had a full Paragon ME1 + ME2 character, completed the game with a full green bar, can't remember the final number.

Apparently this is still not enough for the other ending....

Didn't do any multiplayer so my readyness was always @ 50%.

Peeps on the offcial forums saying it's pretty impossible to get maxed without playing multiplayer/iOS game.

Was probably better not importing my saves and just played multiplayer, wtf did I just play Mass effect or BF3........

I wonder what happens with that mission if you kill the Rachni Queen in ME...

It is on the wiki page. Basically, the Reapers just create another one, so the fights etc are the same:rolleyes: HOWEVER, if you release the queen, because she is not the one you originally helped in ME1 she will turn the Rachni on you shortly after agreeing to help you.

EDIT- here:
If the Rachni Queen dies, then in Mass Effect 3 the Reapers will construct an artificial queen so they can have a rachni army to turn into Ravagers. If Shepard chooses to free this queen, then unlike the queen from Noveria, this artificial queen eventually proves untrustworthy after a few missions, taking away the Rachni Workers War Asset she gave at first and sharply reducing the Alliance Engineering Corps War Asset.

Weazle - thanks I will look for him there then!

Squark - some of them are on the citadel indeed, but not the one I mentioned. or at least, nowhere I was looking!

Not sure how I feel about the lack of proper conversations with squad members tbh(outside certain situations). Overall I am disappointed, but you only end up repeating the same lines of dialogue anyway, so it isn't that different really. In fact the way it is done in this game you probably get just as many lines of unique dialogue tbh. I would still have liked the choice of proper conversations though.

PS I thought Jacob was the worst character ever ....Then I met Vega!

I was going to play the series again and was looking forward to another game. Based on the ending, however, it doesn't seem worth it?

the new DNA ending seemed very much like Adam/eve. I don't see the problem with the mass relays being destroyed - surely they could be rebuilt?

None of the living races in the game know how to build mass relays, or even how they fully work IIRC.
Remember the entire mass effect technology was left behind by the Reapers.

Think i read somewhere that 17 missions in multiplayer is plenty to your rating high enough to give 5k EMS. Done about 5 missions myself and my rating is around 63% and EMS at just over 4k (have to replay the entire end though to get the "special" ending though)

From a post at the Bioware forums :

You gain 3% of galactic readiness for every won match in multiplayer. That's 17 matches to go from 50% to 100%. It's about 4 hours of Bronze runs, then you just need to run one match every day to keep it at 100%

If we post our Origin names we could help each other out with this.

Multiplayer on Bronze difficulty is fairly straightforward / easy with people that know what they are doing.

I heard you can get any of the endings on Single player tho if you work hard enough for it, without multiplayer. I am disgusted that i have to play MP to get that far else.

You can get the 3 major choices for the ending just by single player. But....(rest in spoiler tags)

It's hinted in a few places that the synthesis ending is the "best" ending and since i doesn't kill the geth/edi i suppose thats true and suggestions are that it only unlocks with high enough assets.

Most long term fans would probably consider the Shepards lives version of the destroy ending to be the best since it's the only one that actually does what we set out to do. Shame it throws the rest of the game's characters down a massive plot hole.

You can't get the Shepard lives teaser without either multiplayer or very specific choices through the entire series and those choices are a mix of paragon and renegade type choices.
