Anyone noticed a difference in performance for XP spawners? I have a double spider spawner, using water, which pushes the spiders down a single block waterway. Halfway along, the routes from each spawner join into one, and then continue to a crusher. I noticed yesterday, after the update, that not many are making it to the crusher, and are instead bumping into each other and dying where the two waterways meet :(.

I've noticed no change in rates with my double zombie spawner, however.. before when 5-10 zombies got together in the collection area their 'moans' would stop and you would just hear the tapping of them jumping. But now you hear the moaning and groaning x 300 = pretty damn loud!
 
Darn it! It appears to be an issue in 1.2.3, where cave spiders appear to be able to track you and resist the movement of the water, so a rework is in order :(

Cave spiders pushed by water will stop when running into any solid or non-solid block, even when there is an empty space below them.

Found that in the patch notes.
