I've used mine two nights on the trot on stage and it hasn't let me down.
depends what size you want - Galaxy tab 7.7 is king if you want portability. Specs are excellent.
Guys, I need your opinions on this. I think there is a problem with the battery on mine. A couple of times now it has been off completely when I know it was in sleep, and then when it's booted up it's missing a big chunk of battery life. At first I thought that I may of left it on by mistake, but then when it did it again the other day I checked the battery usage graph and found this.
It's lost about 60% of the battery instantly. I can't think of any other explanation for it but I thought I'd put it out there for you lot to see if any ideas pop out of your massive nerdy brains.
Otherwise it looks like I'll have to contact Asus.

Thanks for the info guys, I was just about to start an RMA process too after it did it again last night and fully dead this time.
I've learned my lesson with updates too. In future I'll be waiting for feedback before applying them myself, someone else can be the guinea pig!
I think I might sell this too and buy something else. Pretty angry at Asus right now.
You can only refuse the update 3 times, so don't blame yourself.

Tbh, I'll give them until the weekend then I'll think about either rooting it and rolling back or buying something else and moving this one on when it's sorted. This is the kind of device that needs to just work for me and my patience only lasts so long.

I've managed to break the plug for the charger on mine
I know the 3pin-usb plug I use for my Desire doesn't give out enough juice for it, anyone know where I can find a 3rd party one that will so I don't have to spend £27 for the Asus one?

which part did you break - the usb cable or 3 pin plug?
