whats with all these crappy remakes? they dont need to be remade the originals are the best

cant they think up something original? gonna be full of crappy cgi
 
it doesn't do anything to suggest it's going to be good or **** from that; i doubt it'll be super mega awesome like the classic, but i'm sure it'll be good fun
 
No doubt it will be a bland, soulless, CGI-fest for the A.D.D. masses....as usual. Give me the original with its cheesy, quotable, brilliance.....dodgy FX and all. The music was ace as well.

I still can't say "two weeks" in a sentence without smiling...

Can't see it touching the original, but I'll still watch it more out of curiosity than anything... Colin Farrell in the lead doesn't fill me with huge confidence though.

Paul Verhoeven was a quality director and made some great movies in the 80s and 90s. he had an element of comedy and quirkyness very few directors have managed.

robocop, total recall and starship troopers are some of the best sci-fi movies ever made
