What film did you watch last night?

Act of Valour - Thought the action scenes were good and the plot wasn't bad but found the acting between the group of soldiers to be pretty poor.

7/10

The Divide - 8/10

Very good nuclear attack survivors type film which certainly makes you wonder that it could well turn out like that if a bomb was ever dropped.

It's not for everyone though as some may find it slow and boring.

I found it quite heavily affecting by the time the credits rolled, too. Mercilessly bleak and nihilistic.

I watched "The Meaning of Life" on ITV4 last night. Possibly my favourite film ever. There were even some bits in it that I hadn't seen before, so I don't know if it was an extended cut or something.

Easily the best thing the Pythons ever did imo(along with ep2 of seires 2). All of them on absolute top form.

Act of valor 4/10

"Would you like a dusting of parmesan on your cheese souffle with cheddar sauce, sir?"

Some okay action scenes but I thought the whole thing played out like an extended american army commercial, especially the narration.

Wild Bill - 9/10.

An extremely enjoyable film. Film of the year so far for me. Definite buy when it comes out on Blu-Ray. I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between the dad and his sons grow. Great acting throughout. :)

Watch Rise of the Footsoldiers last night.. Quality film

Agreed,cracking film.
Bonded by blood is another excellent film, all about the Ranger Rover murders that took place in Footsoldier, superb.

Another is Essex Boys made in 2000 which is also based on the Range Rover murders. Don't be put off that it stars Sean Bean and Larry Lamb, they are quite nasty in this.

I think Footsoldier is probably the best of the three though.

Right, while I am here in this thread ...

The Terror Experiment - 3/10

Quite a poor film in every department.
