Apple Early Adopters (aka Suckers) stuffed . . . again

apple products are also massively locked down and itunes is one of the worst bits of software ive ever used. it causes so many issues on PCs.

as a techie i dont want to be forced into doing things apple's way. as i can work faster than their core demographic and am much more technically able.

This is the reason I don't like their products.

Yep, I agree that they are simple enough for everyone to use out of the box and do MOST things very easily and simply but I just cannot agree with the way that they lock down and disable certain things.

A simple example of this is being unable to Bluetooth certain files between an iPhone and another non-iPhone when file transfer is a native function of Bluetooth.

It's like buying a Ferrari and then they install a 70MPH speed limiter on it....

Whilst I agree with your comments with the technical restriction aspect of its design. In actual daily use in the past 4 years of ownership I can't recall once where I neede to send someone a file from my phone and couldn't and thought to myself that I should have got a HTC or something.

Do you represent all users then? :p

For most people, the majority of 'restrictions' are a non-issue.

So what about those people who do want the option?

That was the point he was making....

Buy a different device and stop being such hater-boys.

What happens if I want to buy and watch movies. Oh wait I can't do that on android. But I cand do it on apple. Which is why I went that route.

It doesn't change the fact that people don't like Apple due to the restrictions. How is that being a 'hater'? :\

Hater is such a retarded term to use.

Apple has offered to refund Australian customers who felt misled about the 4G capabilities of the exciting new iCon 3.

There are no 4G capabilities for the iCon 3 in Oz Land.

On its website, Apple does state that 4G LTE is only supported on selected networks in the US and Canada.

You have been warned - DON'T BUY AN iCon 3 AND EXPECT IT TO WORK :D

Would you like to tell us what mobile device and tablets you own?

I don't know why people have to hate Apple. Actually, you can hate Apple but I don't see why they have to tell the world about it.

It's like some people hate marmite, but do you see them form such hatred about that they tell the world whenever the topic of marmite comes up and hate the company that makes it? Or do they simply walk by it in the supermarket and nt pay attention to it.

I "prefer" apple's touch screen, both it's colour palette and it's responsiveness compared to other touchscreen. But I do not go on how I "hate" other devices because of this one single flaw. You can argue even since the screen is the first point of contact for the end user, it is the most important feature and an absolute deal breaker for all smartphone, to a point that if it's not good, the rest of the device fails.

But nooooo, people seem to pick on that one point, the "restriction", something that most people don't care and thinks Apple somehow owe them a duty to provide this feature because of some god given right.

It is just this terrible human nature of hating someone or a company that is successful. It was Microsoft in the 90's, now is Apple.
