Poll: So Gardener's forum has gone

Whose bright idea was that to nuke :rolleyes:

So we can have a boating forum because the owner buys a boat, but in all honesty only about 2% of the forum will ever even think of owning one, but we can't have a forum based around what a hell of a lot of us do and talk about on here in various ways.

On the water should be replaced with the gardener's forum. On the water is pointless. It don't even get a post for a couple of weeks at least.

There are plenty cooking forums on the net
There are plenty of motor forums on the net
There are plenty of sports forum on the net

See the trend here?

I agree with the OP, i thought the gardening subforum was actually a good idea :(

Good idea, lock all non PC forums as there are plenty of other places to go if you want to talk about F1, Football and relationships.

I'd also rather have a gardening forum than something only the retired and gay sailors are interested in ;)
 
A valid point. Scrolling to the bottom of page one takes you back to Oct last year.

It was an April Fool's, but it's totally harmless. I've no interest in it though, so I'm not bothered either way, I just took a side when I read George Hincapie's dismissive comment.

I think OcUK is missing a trick here... gardens have sun, sun loungers, sun tan lotion and swimming pools :-) Given the recent direction, photo opportunity ;-) lol.
 
It did start off as an April fool, along with the adult content forum. However, this one backfired as it turns out people actually want it.
 
I think we need a bit more digging to find out what has gone on, it seems we are in a bit of a pickle about our beloved gardening subforum. Hopefully we find the root of the problem.

Do people really want it though? It's not as if we could vote on it - I'd be voting yes purely for comedy value.

Besides, I'm currently getting my idea for the tie forum (subtitled 'Take a Bow') the go ahead, don't you be a plundering my dreams!
