Wouldn't you rather it was your mate than some random guy from a random club? He's your mate, so he's presumably a nice guy or you wouldn't be mates with him.

One of my mates is married to my other mates sister. They have a great relationship and two kids together. It can work fine, as has been said if your mates decent then why not have someone you know won't treat your sister like rubbish going out with her?

I've had best mates in the past who I now don't speak to, either because they've slagged me off behind my back to my other mates or turned into total *****. All I'm saying is just because YOU like him/trust him or whatever means jack ****, he could go on totally different with her behind closed doors.

Well you are better placed to know about things like that as at least you know something about them, You would know jack about a stranger.
