Well I'm glad to see that they've included instructions for the future!

The Police said there's no crime?

Isn't showing porn pictures to people that didn't want to see it Gross Indecency?

Nor has his innocence been ascertained.

So he must be guilty of something, is that right?

I was obviously under the misconception that someone was innocent until proven guilty....

The Police do not appear to think any crime was commited....but of course the media and those with an axe to grind will continue with a modern lynching by media and misinformation regardless.....

Of course. But given the limited evidence it's the most obvious conclusion.

No it isn't.

Are you seriously stating that because there is no evidence that he is guilty of a crime, he must be guilty because there is no evidence to the contrary?

It seems highly unlikely that someone who knew that the USB contained those images, or put them on that USB would be foolish enough to use said USB in a presentation they themselves were conducting.....

Cardinal Brady added: "The priest has stated that he had no knowledge of the offending imagery. The archdiocese immediately sought the advice of the PSNI who indicated that, on the basis of the evidence available, no crime had been committed. The priest is co-operating with an investigation of the matter on the part of the archdiocese."

I think I'll wait until the Archdiocese conduct their investigation before vilifying and condemning the man simply based on peoples prejudices....

Well I'm sure you have some idea why someone might jump to that conclusion. I shall say no more. Hopefully though, if any Catholic priests do happen to have a usb pen with that sort of thing on it, they will read the article and find out how to turn autoplay off.

I am well aware of peoples irrational prejudices, you are correct there.

Maybe the Samantha Brick Daily Mail article and the subsequent hail of abuse would have been a better article to comment on.......rather than one that was posted simply because it involved a Priest. ;)
