Mdina on Malta is a top place and a day in Gozo is a must, also lots of British military history if you are into that.

Its 18 atm, according to the Internet, but it feels like 20-25 easily. Should keep on going up according to this website.

I'm based in Balzan, centre of the island. You prob never heard of that :P Its close to Lija/Attard/Mosta/Birkirkara.

45mins to come and 45 to go. You can catch the bus from Valletta to Cirkewwa, but it does take long-ish. Depending on the people, it can take around an hour. If you want to go swim there, I'd recommend Mgarr ix-Xini (google it). Its not well known, but its really nice. From the nearest bus stop, you have to walk ~30 minutes, on a 'road' in between farms and some fields. The smell and walk aren't too pleasant, but its by far the best beach in Gozo imo. I don't like sandy beaches like Ramla il-Hamra, so I prefer this rocky beach. There is also a nice high-ish place where you can jump :P

Big fan of Malta, been there about 7 times now ( got friends over there ) So much to do and see! I enjoyed going to Marsaxlokk, Really quaint fishing village in the south east! The Mosta dome is a nice visit as well. Ta'Qali arts village is nice, It mission huts you can walk inside and people are crafting items from glass, to jewellery and clothes. a lot of others have also mentioned some really good suggestions too!

You were seriously unlucky... we haven't had rain here for over a month!

But apparently it decided to rain today!

Even with rain, weather is not that cold!

It used to be said that the Maltese drove neither on the right nor on the left, but in the shade :cool:

Hey we used taxis twice once to aiport and once bck

The rest of times buses
We were v close to buggiba station and got to say
Buses were amazing service
All drivers spoke good english N it is very cheap compared to london busses lol nice one

The holiday was
More for older people n familes

Plus we didnt see many hot maltese women bar a few lol

I take it you are already back yes? Good to know that you found the bus service good :P MANY people complain. Its like 2.50 euros for foreigners for a day ticket.

Yeah, not many hot Maltese women :( In summer though, when the tourists come....

Lol well we went to
Mosta some back roads maybe. Bus 225 took
Ages to
Come

When it did the bus driver was driving so
Rough over bad roads and everyone went flying even this kid did
We could not work
