Surely Paul Lambert has got to be a strong candidate for manager of the season? Yes Swansea play more "attractive" football than us, but we are very good at scoring goals and getting points, as seen by the 6 points we picked up against Swansea this season.. You don't get any extra points for style, it is goals and wins that count in this league and that is what Lambert does best.

EDIT: And Lambert is one of very few managers who brings through English players, as seen by the fact we had 10 English players on the pitch today..

Be between Lambert, Rodgers, Pardew and Fergie this year.
 
Lambert had the hardest job, done an unbelievable job with his squad. Can't believe Bradley Johnson is a Prem player, Howson was anonymous for us too when playing this season.

Pardew had a decent-ish team at the start and has spent money to bring in some quality signings, nothing on Lambert though. Although if Pardew does get them in the CL I guess that could pip Lambert.
