“I have no recollection”

'The Grauniad' is a well known nickname for the paper, given to it by 'The Private Eye' (probably one of the best rags in publication) because 'The Grauniad' was well known for it's typos... one of which included spelling its own name wrong (as 'The Grauniad').

If you don't know that, well, just stop being so ignorant.

It was funny years ago when the joke was first made which, ironically, was probably before the OP was born.

Yeah, was a funny joke, which evolved into a nickname.

It probably was before he was born, does that mean one should not educate him into the how and why it is an accepted nickname today? still?

Edit: Or are you attempting to have a weak go at me for old times sake Mags?

Ooh, this one should be fun. People on here now have to balance the urge to post 'lolstockhausen' with the urge to post something disparaging about Tony Blair....

*popcorn*

lolstockhausen and his random idiocy trumps anything else.

One more notch on war criminal Blair's belt. How many more will it take before he's forced to pay for his crimes?

Reading stockhausen threads is like looking at a car crash. I shouldn't but it's oh so entertaining.

Spot on. :D

Oh and Lolstockhausen. I actually quite liked Blair and the first Labour term was good, the second was just ok but the 3rd was a horror movie.

That is because your post consisted of
  • I don't like Blair
  • I don't like Labour
  • I'm sure Blair is a lovely guy only interested in seeking the best for the British people
It wasn't worthy of a response, sorry Foxy :(

Why don't you get back to Motors where your encyclopaedic and breathtakingly dull knowledge of the optimum manifold pressure of every BMW ever produced will be acknowledged and applauded by your fellow bores?

Lolstockhausen.

i never knew the origin of the name. thanks. i have seen it called that for years and wondered why

Does make it any less childish, unfunny or annoying. I cringe every time i read it as it makes me think that the poster is of limited intelligence

its a nickname, how can you find it that offensive? i think the guardian is one of the only newpapers i would even vaguely trust but they do often get things wrong or print BS stories from the internet

the Daily Heil is a much better nickname, as they go, for the Daily Mail (or Daily Fail)

Disgusting, I'd expect him to remember every single decision made by anyone in his government in great detail throughout his time as PM.

I assume this is said with the sarcasm modulator set to on......... otherwise I guess its time for the statutory notsureifserious.jpg line ?

You're welcome :)

Oh the ironing. I do not think the same about lack of full stops and poignant words lacking 'n't' on the end. Should I?

:p
