How long after knowing your partner did you propose?

He proposed on our 10th anniversary. No rush to get married earlier and we had both agreed that we didn't want a long drawn out engagement, nor wait too long after getting married to start a family. We've been married for 18 months now with a baby due tomorrow.
 
Im 24, single etc but friends wise

A couple that have been together since they where 16, they got engaged last year
A couple that have been together 2 years, they got engaged last week

They will both last the distance imo, Just times where right for them.
 
I waited about 7 years to propose. Did it on top of a mountain covered in snow on a French Alps ski holiday, it was all planned perfectly by myself if I do say so...

Getting married in Finland in 2013, in the Ice Chapel which is part of Igloo Village!

Do you really think that's going to stop after he comes along? You do know that babies sleep most of the day, and when they aren't sleeping they are feeding? And when they aren't sleeping or feeding, you have family and friends visiting :p

You'll have a very pronounced bum-mark on your sofa for the first few weeks :D

I know I know, I am just getting very impatient, at least when he is here I can start going to the baby clubs and stuff. :D
 
1st wife: after 5 years together....lasted 4 years then separated....divorced.
This one: been together 7 years when i proposed last september, get married this august.
She IS the one! :)

I've never proposed to Any of the women I've been with not even my daughters mother. If I found an old fashioned woman that I fell in love with I would but there aren't any left. :( + :p

2 mths into my new relationship with the now wifey i proposed...was quite shocked and surprised that i proposed so quickly as usually in the past i was the one running from proposing:p. But as Castiel said earlier in the thread, when you know, you just know and that in a nutshell was how i felt.

Got married in our 3rd mth of seeing each other and have been married for about 3 mths now...still happy and enjoying every single bit of our marriage;)...just need to book some time off to go on honeymoon and start trying for a baby:p
