I am building a new PC and have bought the Gigabyte UD5H bundled with the 620 Kuhler and was thinking of replacing the stock fan with 2 in push-pull.
There are several on sale ATM and wondered which you all would recommend between the Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1450 RPM or 1850 RPM or do I need 4 Pin PWM fans like Akasa AK-FN057 Apache Super Silent for this board? Or is there another fan that is better suited to this application?
I plan to overclock either a 3770k or 2700k (depending on overall performance and overclockability of the 3770k when we get more retail unit reviews). I want the PC to be quiet (but not necessarily silent) so will compromise cooling for excessive noise even if it means a couple hundred Mhz drop in the OC.
I know the 620 may not be the best for overclocking but in reviews it seems to keep up with some of the big heatsinks and was free so I dont mind spending another £25 on fans.
