Have to enjoy the nods back to Diablo 1, though. The music is awesome.

Yeah I found 2 books that relate to characters in 1 and 2. Won't spoil it ;)

Anyone else think D3 will have another trademark Blizzard bad ending?
SPOILERS
SC1: Kerrigan becomes the queen of some Zerg
D1 : Hero sticks the soulstone in his head.
D2 : Baal gets the soulstone and burns the asylum down.
D2 LOD: Tyrael destroys the world stone (I actually thought he was in effect blowing up the whole world. I thought he said something about the world being remade, but it turns out he just blew up the mountain.)
WC3: Arthas becomes the Lich King

Can't remember what happened at the end of WC3:TFT, and didn't finish the SC2 single player, but I'm sure it was bad!

Anyone else finding it running slowly?

i7 920 @ 3.2Ghz

I'm having to turn shadows to low to get it to stop jerking.

Also, it would seem that both Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 cause my nvidia drivers (latest one's) to black screen back to desktop and then back to the game quite repeatedly. Starcraft becomes pretty much unplayable with it happening every few minutes, whereas Diablo seems a little better. Have read it may be overheating (manually setting the fan to 100% seems to delay it a bit) but it still happens even then. Also I read setting process priority to high would help but that doesn't and I get that message about running low of paged memory in Starcraft that a lot of people seem to get, that would suggest a memory leak...? :(

I'm playing on a Dell XPS 17 laptop with a GT555m GPU, and I've got it set to 1080p with everything on high and AA turned on. It runs at a constant 50+ FPS, but I wouldn't say it's fluid. It's difficult to describe but it's as if the camera isn't panning around smoothly.

I'm happy enough given that it's a beta.

Apparently its random??

Its never appeared in any of the playthroughs ive seen and I check most places

It's a random event that you get it some of the crypts while you're looking for the crown. There's another event where you have to find some dead bint's husband's ashes and put them in his tomb.

There's a few unique areas you can get generated in the beta. In the area before the crypts you can get a two level cave called "The Den of the Fallen" that spawns once every so often. It's usually got some good chests in usually.

Even all of the more linear outside bits have random tiles that get swapped around each time you visit that area, some are rarer than others. :)
