Even with high FPS (I turned off AA in an attempt to sort out the issues, 100+ FPS with 6970m oc'd 2500k, etc) the game feels a little jerky - presumably due to the latency to the US servers.

The first time I played through the closed beta (thanks Hippos!) the jerkiness was bad enough that it set off my motion sickness and I had to stop playing. It seems to be somewhat better now though.

Fun game anyhow - I wasn't sold on it to start with but it has grown on me now.

I found that Vsync sorted out my jerkyness when I was over 120fps.

Can someone explain the multiplayer side to this, is it just co-op or is it a separate system/game?

Is re-playability purely about doing harder levels with other people and finding new items?

Can you play with randoms or do you need to join-up with 'friends'?

Well, I managed to try out all the classes, and I think I'll leave it at that.

Enjoyed the Monk the most, followed by the Demon Hunter, so it'll be one of those for my first, depending on whether my mate picks a melee or ranged class.

Love the "weight" they've got behind the Barbarian, its fun smashing things around. Wizard could be fun later on when you've got a few more spells under your belt.

Didn't like the Witch Doctor. Felt like the weakest of the three, and some of his attacks felt a bit comedic. Might come into his own later on with some AoE abilities.

Roll on the 15th!

Co-op, and you can play with friends or randoms.

Playing the game through on normal will only level you part way, then you can start again on the next difficulty and continue to progress your character.

It's a random event that you get it some of the crypts while you're looking for the crown. There's another event where you have to find some dead bint's husband's ashes and put them in his tomb.

There's a few unique areas you can get generated in the beta. In the area before the crypts you can get a two level cave called "The Den of the Fallen" that spawns once every so often. It's usually got some good chests in usually.

Even all of the more linear outside bits have random tiles that get swapped around each time you visit that area, some are rarer than others. :)

Ive seen the den of the fallen once, still i've done maybe 8 playthroughs now and no jar of souls.....shame

I only just realised you get a town portal stone when you search for the crown, I always quit the game when i got to the end of the beta.... :o

DONE IT! completed the beta with all the characters, found a black mushroom on my last run looked it up and its just an easter egg from D1 and possibly a cow level item in the full version :)
