Normal Difficulty in diablo is basically the tutorial for the game. Its when you get to nightmare, hell and inferno you will be challenged

Yeah going by d2, dont think the game is easy now until youve hit the hardest levels.. which you will because thats where the good loot will drop!

To be honest I think the increased difficulties are just an artificial way of providing replayability. Although due to the nature of the game there is no other way to do provide higher difficulty levels anyway. I just feel like I shouldn't have to play through the same content 3 times in a row before I can reach the final difficulty.

The thing is you have to replay anyway to search for items, it's Item Porn and it's a grindy game.

I'd really love randomly generated dungeons =/

With each difficulty comes different strategy though, if again.. its like d2. a lot more creatures are immune to certain damage, have different tricks (ones that didnt knockback or stun, will in harder difficulties stun and knockback). Not sure if harder difficulties in d3 will mean creatures will cast different things other than their primary though.. we can hope!

I think its good to play through several difficulties, you have to though aswell because there is only a certain amount of xp you can gain through lower difficulties before you gain no xp. Probably a better system than leveling through exactly the same content to get to max level at least it adds that little bit more variety as you go through

I dont seem to be able to use my eyefinity screen res, is there a restriction in the beta? i have 3 screens so 5040x1050, but it only allows 1680x1050 or lower... Perhaps I need to check driver version?

Did you pick the correct aspect ratio?

I can pick 1920x1200 fine.

Just bought myself Diablo 2 and LoD for £12 (amazing value considering everywhere I looked has D2 and D2: LOD for £10 each, even the website I bought the combo from). Should keep me ticking over until D3 is released

Loved Diablo 2. Played it to death but breathed some new life into the game by starting up an HC Barb.

Killed at level 72. My Sorcerer party member somehow betrayed me and slayed me instantly as soon as I exited his portal, or my portal, or something. I wasn't best pleased either way.

Was a lot of fun playing HC and I'm looking forward to returning to the franchise after quite a few years.

You need to select windowed full screen mode.

Really wanted to try the wizard and demon hunter to see who I wanted to play as my first character.

I can't go back, it just looks awful now. D3 is pretty much everything I wanted. it's the same as D2 but they removed annoying things like needing to collect arrows or bolts for a crossbow. No more requirement to hold town portal or scroll of identification books.

Loved the WD and the DH, no idea which to choose as 1st char at release.

Would have like more time to try out the Wizard as well.

Well after playing all classes to lvl 10 and loving them all, I have no idea what I want to play as my 'main' at release. Damnit!

Looking forward to this release even more than I had been previously though!
