LOL... 3 tabs for 8 characters?

The amount of **** (read: all the sets and all the Gold/Grey Items I could get my mits on) I hoarded on my Necromancer filled at least 20tabs of PlugY inventory space in D2.

All items in D3 take much less space, maximum space for an item is 2 boxes so in practice those 3 tabs are worth more like 10+.

Also you wont need to stack gems from lvl1 and save them for later since you can put them in ur gear and then take them out and reuse them. Won't have to keep all 200 in ur storage to make better ones for hell.

I didn't count how many squares are there exactly as well but it seems like a lot more than in D2.

And why would u collect grey items anyways?? They're worth 0 in d3.

105 2 space items.

and of course 210 1 space items.

plenty, for now.

I think he's referring to socketed not damaged. That or Unique which weren't grey but would make sense.

But yes. We've no idea yet as to the extent we'll need to store items. Not to mention everything is smaller so the inventory goes a lot further. You won't need to store 3 billion random uniques/set items to maybe put them on a newer character. You won't have a list 2 miles long of gems that you never really find a use for anyway.

I do think the should add a single tab for personal storage per character though. Just so that any character specific gear that has no reason to be in shared storage doesn't clutter it up.

That would be good.

If I have problems storing gear, which I don't really foresee currently with the changes I've made. I'll just mule it off, it's not exactly tricky now with the shared stash.

I really can't see it being a problem though, especially not until I've got a few chars.
Even then, I'd have thought when I stop playing a char, they'll have enough room on their person for a couple of full sets of their own gear. That seems the best idea if I'm not going on one for a while. Store thier personal stuff out of the stash.

Aye. I suspect that aside from maybe the odd item that you want to store for use at a higher level there probably won't be much need for extra storage until you start crafting/finding the top few tier equipment.

Thats pretty much all I used it for in the beta. Crafting items and the odd piece of gear for a new character.

I think Blizzard have said there isn't, but nobody believes them anyway.

My favourite comment was requesting a portal to the The Bovine Prairie.

Yeah they lied to us before with Diablo titles, there will be a cow level, or similar secret levels

looking forward to a uber tristam again

not wanting to read through 97 pages. the most important question

Is there a cow level?

One of beta hint screens claims there isn't one. That said diablofans have posted client strings implying a pony level :P.

On a different note, finally got my final character to 13 and...I'm at a loss. The least enjoyable character was the WD in my opinion (though i'm not implying the class was poor or anything), and while I plan to make a monk my main, the lack of mobility (like barbs leap or dh vault) and crippled resource generation are annoying drawbacks. By contrast the DH seems almost op in this aspect. Hatred regenerates by itself very slowly AND can be regained by shooting at nothing, and discipline doesn't see enough usage for it to be running out (unless you spam vault to gain the speed boost).

The only reason you don't use much discipline is because its normal act 1 and theres no real need to unless you feel like it. Especially when by the time you hit lvl13 you were so overpowered for that stage of the game its utterly meaningless...
When you've got a full skill bar and stronger enemies I'm sure things will change.

WD totally different in style to the other characters. Running around with a triple shot poison blowpipe, a bunch of zombie dogs and your grasping hands AoE was a nice change.

edit: Did anyone else find the 'My hatred is too low' thing sounded extremely stupid?

Looking at the list of abilities that use discipline, I still don't see how you'd spam it. Only two I can think of is vault when you get overwhelmed by enemies and shadow power when desperate for health. Even then, Discipline does regenerate all on its own, where Spirit only regenerates when you strike an enemy with a spirit generator, unless you have a passive that grants spirit regen while a mantra is active and/or use MoH with CB rune or MoR with AAO rune.
